Under his right arm he has a bundle of three scrolls, left arm is covered by cloak. To his right, there are waves in the foreground and a mountain in background, with trees at the peak. To his left are waves rolling towards him. The wave directly in front of him has a small smiling face. In the top left corner of the scene there are trees with low hanging branches. All designs are done in a mix of low and high relief. Openwork carving throughout. Base of container is concave.

Walls made of dyed grass strands and woven together with naturally coloured reeds, covering the walls in a small checkered design. Additional reeds woven throughout, creating a floral motif. Sections of grass are woven together in centre of base, forming a crossed square. Concentric, four-petal flower-like design surrounds square. Largest flower petals extend upward to basket opening. Patterns are visible on interior and exterior. Basket is light yellow, designs done in dark brown.

They alternate between small ones, that reach halfway down the walls, and larger ones that extend from the rim to the base. Larger ones have curved prongs on top. Base dyed dark brown-red. Patterns are visible on interior and exterior. Basket is light brown-grey, designs are done in dark brown-red.

Orange flower has five petals and a large golden brown circle in the middle. The outer flowers are (from centre outward): brown, white, orange, and brown. Inverted triangle motif formed in negative space between petals along basket opening. Triangles are white, with smaller orange triangles in their centres. Patterns are visible on interior and exterior.

Columns of plain diamonds decorate walls of basket. Column height alternates; every other one ends at either the edge of the base or extending onto it. Pattern visible on both interior and exterior. Basket is dyed dark brown, designs are natural golden brown.

The coils forming the lip are secured together with angled multi-coloured braids. Patterns are visible on interior and exterior. Basket is golden brown, designs done in dark brown. Metal hook attached to rim, for hanging purposes.

Vase-like beer basket (part a) with lid (part b). Basket has a circular opening with a gently sloping neck that flares into a rounded body, before tapering into a flat base. Large circle decorates base, walls decorated with linear and geometric motifs. There are two hourglass-like sections on either side of basket, with zigzag panels in between. Hourglass-like sections have hourglass-like designs in their centre, made up of alternating triangle motifs, and flanked with distorted diamonds. Zigzag panels are filled with diamond outlines. Lid has an extended lip and interior ridge, that fits into the container body. Assortment of triangle designs extend inward from lid edge. Patterns on both components are visible on interior and exterior. Both components are golden brown, designs done in dark brown.
