Large rectangular flared coil basket (bifurcated stitches) with elongated watch-spring construction. Fully imbricated in cat-tail grass(?) and vertical rows of continuous zig-zag design alternating in red and dark cherry bark. Top row alternates in dark cherry bark and cat-tail grass(?). One row of cherry bark beading on rim of bottom.
Large, carved, wooden, hokhokw mask with a long beak and circular cutout nostrils. The beak is hinged with pieces of leather nailed to either side. The beak is painted black with a red mouth and nose. Along the front end of the beak are ten, white, incised U-forms. At the back of the nose are two large black and red U-forms followed by smaller red and white split U’s outlined in black. The eyes are white, outlined in black and red, on a white, ovoid shaped background; brow is black. The inside of the mask is hollow with the exception of twine used to open and close the beak. The top and side edges of the mask are lined with braided cedar. The top has short pieces of cedar creating a fringe, while the back has longer strips that hang over the wearer. Intertwined in the cedar are a few feathers. The bottom has crooked beak depicted with black and white eyes, red and white mouth and a protruding, crooked beak. The mask is painted black, red, and white with Northwest Coast stylized designs.
Large, carved bird mask with a long beak, a high bridge and ovoid shaped cutout nostrils. The beak is hinged with pieces of rubber nailed to either side. The beak is painted black with a red mouth and nose. At the back of the nose is a large red split U-forms. The bridge has six red U-forms on the bottom and eight, white U-forms on top. The eyes are white, outlined in black, on a white, ovoid shaped background; brow is black. Underneath the eye is four white U’s. The inside of the mask is hollow with the exception of twine used to open and close the beak along with a fibre cloth. The top and side edges of the mask are lined with braided cedar. The top has short pieces of cedar creating a fringe, while the back has longer strips that hang over the wearer. The mask is painted black, red, and white with stylized designs.
Large, carved, wooden, raven hamatsa mask with a long beak and two sets of s-shaped cutout nostrils. The beak is hinged with pieces of leather nailed to either side. The beak is painted black with a red mouth and nose. At the back of the mouth are three red ovoid-like shapes. Surrounding the nose are two s-shapes and three elongated s-shapes. The eyes are white, outlined in black, surrounded by red, on a white, ovoid shaped background; brow is black. The inside of the mask is hollow with the exception of twine used to open and close the beak. The top, side and bottom edges of the mask are lined with braided cedar. The top and sides have short bundles of cedar creating a fringe. Intertwined in the cedar are a few feathers. The underside of the mouth is painted black with a small white and red design. The mask is painted black, red, and white with Northwest Coast stylized designs.
Oval cedar bark basket with a square bottom and dark brown diagonal overlay decoration. Decoration consists of four pair of two parallel lines each of dyed cedar bark. Decoration starts near the rim and turns at the corner of base and proceeds up towards the opposite rim, resulting in the decoration covering all sides of basket. Dyed bark is seen every other stitch. String handles consist of two bundles of three pieces of string. The two bundles run parallel to each other, joined together at their top edges by another bundle of two or three pieces of string 6 cm. long. String runs inside the basket for 2.7 cm. on one side, and 4 cm. on the other. String does not run on the underside of the basket.
Part (a) Cylindrical coiled cedar root basket (bifurcated stitches) with double loop border, short foot and lid, part (b). Watch-spring base and lid construction. Imbricated design of three rows of diamonds alternating in checkerboard colour configuration between dark cherry bark outline with cat-tail grass (?), red cherry bark, cat-tail grass (?), and dark cherry bark center; and the reverse colours outlined in red cherry bark and at center between cat-tail grass (?) and dark cherry bark. Lid has half triangular shapes around rim then four full diamond shapes in alternating checkerboard colour configuration, then two rows of staggered triangular shapes in same colour combination. Coil handle at center has broken off. Foot has two stitches of beading alternating between dark and red cherry bark, at intervals. Bottom of basket is also imbricated with checkerboard triangular design in two alternating rows.

The beak is painted black with a red mouth and noses. Along the back of the nose to the back of the mouth are red U-forms and other shapes outlined in white. The eyes are white, outlined in black, surrounded by red on a white, ovoid shaped background; brow is black. The inside of the mask is hollow with the exception of twine used to open and close the beak. The top has short pieces of cedar creating a fringe, while the back has longer strips that hang over the wearer. Intertwined in the cedar are many feathers. There is a piece of cloth that hangs down over the front of the wearer. The mask is painted black, red, and white with Northwest Coast stylized designs.
Rectangular slightly flared coiled basket (bifurcated stitches). Parallel splint base construction. Upper half of basker is fully imbricated in cat-tail grass (?), with design on upper half of basket of zig-zag pattern outlined in dark cherry bark, then cat-tail grass (?) and red cherry bark center. Alternaing intervals of red and dark cherry bark along rim. Lower half is imbricated with zig-zag pattern with flat bottoms and tops, in cat-tail grass (?). Two rows of dark cherry bark imbrication on bottom. Two rawhide loops and long knotted handle on one long side, one loop at center and long knotted handle on other long side, one long thong on each short side.
Rectangular basket with looped border under rim and flared foot. Elongated watch-spring construction. Imbricated design of a large diamond on each side outlined in dark cherry bark, then grass, red cherry bark, grass, dark cherry bark, and grass at center. On either side of diamond on long sides are mirrow image vertical borders of connected right-sided triangles alternating in dark and red cherry bark.
Short round coiled basket (bifurcated stitches), watch-spring base construction. Imbricated design of diamonds outlined in red cherry bark, cat-tail grass (?) with dark cherry bark centers.
