Headdress consisting of flat, horn-shaped curved wood head piece with long strands of dried grass hanging down in two thick bunches from grass pompoms. The plank wood headpiece, with leather and cloth head straps attached, is painted white with red dots on both sides and, on the front, has two leaping sharks facing each other and the dates 2000 and 2005.
Ironwood club with finely woven, decorated grass sheath (two detached pieces of sheath are parts b-c). Zigzag patterning varies in red, black, and dark brown against the natural grass coloured background. Club has a flattened diamond cross-section and a centre ridge that runs from edge of sheath to tip of pointed end.
Penis sheath. Made from a curved, basketry covered gourd, it is decorated with woven vertical zigzags and clusters of seeds dangling from thin ropes at both ends, and is painted in three shades of brown. A thin rope loops at open end.
The canoe (part a) is carved from one piece of wood in the shape of a crocodile. At the stern a crocodile is climbing out of the water and snatching a baby. Inside the canoe is a family fishing, with their dog. At the bow of the flat-bottomed dugout canoe is a carved crocodile head, with white decoration running along the sides and purple fibre tassels. Inside lies a black and white dog, then behind him an older male with a beard holding a paddle (part b), then a younger male. The female figure is next, with a yellow grass skirt, holding another paddle (part c) and is falling back away from the yellow and brown crocodile. The crocodile holds the pink baby between its many sharp teeth.
Realistic representation of shark head is painted bluish gray with carved black eyes and red gill lines. Worn with nose pointing upwards, the beard and the mouth, made up of part of the jaw and teeth of a shark set above a row of squared white wood teeth, are therefore facing forward. The headdress has long strands of grass fibres hanging from the sides and a foam lining around the interior rim. The jaw is held in with nails and two strands of woven synthetic rope are knotted and pulled through holes in the wood.
Basketry cradle with skin carrying straps attached to the sides. Woven designs in light and dark vary, one side and top end have zigzags along the top and rectangles below, the other side and bottom end have vertical lines. Two cross straps near each end are connected to each other by a thicker strap handle, and a piece of thin green rope is tied through opening at the bottom end.
Wooden horse puppet on strings. Lower legs are attached to upper legs with metal staples, the legs, a saddle, and long grass tail are nailed to the body, the moveable head with leather ears tied on with a thin white rope, all of which are attached with long strings to a small wood bar. The horse is white with the hooves, eyes, and bridle in black and body decoration of green, blue and yellow circles and red dots.
Brightly coloured feather headdress. Small round basketry cap is almost completely covered with pink, purple, blue and a few orange feathers that have been sewn together in rings and woven into the cap in layers. Inside the cap is a long loop of twisted grass.
Straw mermaid with curved green tail and long, dried grass hair. She has red knobs on the tail, a red starfish in her hair, a yellow and red necklace, and red mouth.
Rectangular Corpus Christi costume tail panel that hangs down the back. The central panel of light orange silk has flowers,birds, men on horseback, flames, crosses and emblems (one with the letters JHS) embroidered on in red, purple, brown and green, and is framed with consecutive borders of purple silk, silver foil, green and turquoise ribbons and, finally, a long fringe of pink wool. A purple ribbon drapes from the top and a small square mirror hangs at its centre. The entire top textile panel has been crudely sewn onto a paper and straw ? support covered with a piece of loosely woven green cloth.
