Doll1719/26

Small cone-shaped doll with wool fibre stuffed inside body. Body is covered in woven cedar bark. Head is round, and doll has black coloured fibre hair that is tied in two braids. Doll has a skin headdress that is decorated with beads.

Doll Carrier1719/9

Small oblong-shaped doll carrier, or cradle, with plastic doll wrapped up in strips of cedar bark. Cradle has arched handle attached to one side. Skin strips attach to handle and opposite end of the cradle. Cradle is decorated with alternating sections of diagonally stitched white cedar root and cherry bark around its perimeter. The lower portion of the cradle has evenly spaced checkered sections of white cedar root and cherry bark.

A light yellow-brown woven coil basket with a flat, circular bottom, slightly flared sides, and a flat lid. The basket and lid each have three short bands of purple, while the lid has an additional three bands of purple wool woven into it.

Rectangular, twined basket with hinged lid. Hinges and ties on front side are of skin; handle goes across long dimension of the lid and is also skin. Round, brown basket with a flat bottom and flared sides. Base is made from a circular birch bark panel with a white, green and pink leaf design of stitched porcupine quills in the centre and alternating white and pink quills around the rim. Two bands of coiled sweet grass with a single band of zigzagging open work between them comprise the sides; coiled sweet grass sides are all stitched with black thread.
