A small light yellow-brown cylindrical basket (part a) with a lid (part b). There are two equally spaced grey, dark brown, and brown whaling scenes around the side. The side of the basket tapers into an upright rim. The lid (part b)is slightly rounded and has red and green and yellow centre with four equally spaced grey whales around it. There are horizontal rows of red and brown around the side of the lid (part a).

A small brown cylindrical basket (part a) with a lid (part b). A horizontal row of grey waves goes around the bottom of the basket (part a), above which there is one red and grey whale, two grey birds, and one grey canoe with people inside. The side of the basket tapers into an upright rim. The lid (part b) is slightly rounded with a grey circle at the top centre, around which there is a red outline, with two red and grey whales and two red and grey birds in between them. There are red and grey horizontal rows around the side of the lid (part b), with dots in between the two rows.

Triangular coiled basket (bifurcated stitches) with foot. Watch-spring contruction. Fully imbricated design of two upper rows of down pointing triangles, and bottom row of up pointing triangles, alternating between red and dark cherry bark, with cat-tail grass (?) between. Foot has alternating red or dark cherry bark squares with cat-tail grass (?) triangles at center.

Round coiled cedar root basket (part a) with lid (part b). Cedar slat foundation with parallel slat base construction. Foot made of one slat or row. Two overcast handles. Imbrication in black and red cherry bark and bullrush on body of the basket (part a) with a design that consists of alternating red and black quadruple v-lines around the sides and cross like shapes around the rim. Beading in red and black cherry bark on the lid (part b).

Baby CarrierA6952

Coiled cedar root baby cradle with slat foundations and simple interlocking coiled work. Overcast rim with additional loopwork at the head. Rim is beaded in black cherry bark (3:1), over/under. Body of cradle has first two rows beaded in white grass. Five rows per slat with butterfly pattern in red and black cherry bark over the rest. One side is slightly different from the other.

Ornament formed from braided strands of grass, each with several blue and green iridescent feathers bound to it at intervals with multicoloured threads.
