Cantonese Opera BeltN1.622 b-f

Green five piece hoop belt (part b-f). The rectangular pieces are curved and fit together. Part (b) has no tabs. Part (c) has one leather tab folded back under the belt loop and one wooden tab. Part (d) has two leather tabs folded back. Part (e) has no tabs. Part (f) has one leather tab folded back and one wooden tab. The fabric is fixed over a wooden centre. The front has embroidered Immortal symbols and floral motifs in orange, pink and purple on a turquoise ground. The back lining is royal blue cotton.

Part a is a long and narrow wooden piece with natural bark that is wraped with strips of bark at one end. Part b is a medium-sized and thicker wooden piece with three stagged holes on the outer edge of the piece. Part c is a small wooden piece that has thick bark on it.
