Boat-shaped basket made from slender sticks bound and nailed to a bamboo frame. Stiff, rounded handle runs from one end to the other.

Long narrow decorated tapa (masi) with designs in black and brown. The design is two blocks (pairs) wide and seven long, each pair containing similar flower-like central designs with wide geometric borders around the whole set of blocks. The flowers are of two types, one with oval petals and the other with diamond-shaped petals. One side has a thin striped fringe, the other has a border of lengthwise lines. The ends are serrated. The cloth is made of two pieces attached together; one is thinner than the other.

Long rectangular tapa cloth with geometric designs in brown and black on natural coloured ground. In the centre are squares with two floral motifs in natural on a divided brown and black ground. Around the squares are many bands with triangular and diamond motifs in natural and black. The bottom edge has a thin, black and white fringe. The ends are cut in a serrated pattern.

Long, rectangular white tapa cloth (masi), undecorated with fringed borders.

Dance skirt made from a layer of leaves and plant segments(?) at the waistband, under which is a slightly longer layer of dyed purple bark, and finally a longer layer of grass.

Light brown, circular open work basket with a rounded bottom and a thick, overcast rim; basket may have had two handles at one time.

Clear round glass float encased in a tightly woven covering; woven covering has a large circular opening ringed by a raised, flared lip. Covering is encircled by bands of decorative colour and open weave as well as a repeated step design and image of two people in a canoe.

Vase-like glass container encased in a tightly woven covering. Weaving has several bands of colour encircling the object and the repeated image of a bird in flight.

Glass bottle encased in a tightly woven covering (part a) with cap (part b). Woven covering is light yellow-brown and features many circular bands of coloured designs as well as a bird with outstretched wings on repeated on opposite sides.
