Purple exterior edge border has inward pointing green triangles. Two bird-on-arrow stylized figures are in the middle range with their wings outspread to either side.

Decorated with two horizontal rows of beading per slat. Vertically staggered stitches in red cherry bark/white grass/red cherry bark. Three motifs per side, one per end. The rim is beaded in red.

Model version of an Eastern woodlands style canoe. Canoe is made from birch bark lashed to a wooden frame with root lacings. Upper edge of the canoe is rimed with a slender branch that is overcast with strips of root. Black, resinous pitch is used to patch seams and holes in the birch bark.

Simple coiled work, parallel slat base construction, and coiled handles. Decorated with both partial imbrication and beading.
