Bone-handled knife (part a) with long pointed metal blade. Base of bone handle has thick band of inter-woven wires wound around it, top has incised designs. At top and protrusion of handle there are tufts of hair, some dyed red, and longer strands of dark human hair. Blade has darkened to almost black in some areas. Part b is a wooden scabbard with incised designs in upper section, and at bottom. It has 14 dark brown double bands of grass encircling it. There are two woven circular designs made of light and dark coloured grass, among the bands. On the upper part there are 14 rows of light coloured grass wound around and through the wood underneath the incised design. Attached to the back of the scabbard is a thinner scabbard that appears to be made from a seed pod(?) which is lashed onto the scabbard with string and wire. There is a braided grass handle attached at the back of the scabbard, and a tie of cotton printed fabric tied to the handle. The wood of the scabbard has a red stain(?) over most of its surface and there is another longer tuft of hair attached behind the scabbard.

Moose hair tufting in a floral design, on black velvet. Rectangular light-grey mat with oval centre cut-out that frames an arrangement of flowers, leaves and stems. Velvet is stapled onto a layer of matboard and foam core.

An elongated headpiece made from dyed hair (commonly referred to as a 'roach'). Centre is clipped short and dyed green with a white border; outer edge is long, vertical, and dyed bright orange.

A brown woven hat that has a coiled band going along the top from the front to the back. Red-brown hair is erect at the front with a tail-like effect at the back. The hat is mainly brown with yellow stripes. String is attached to both sides.

Cantonese opera prop. Spear with a cylindrical wooden shaft that has been wrapped in off-white fabric tape and has a silver, decorative wooden finial. Grey hair has been attached around the shaft at the base of the finial and tied with orange cord.

Flat, rectangular wooden mask with two square eyeholes, a long, protruding nose, and a crescent moon-shaped mouth with gold covered teeth. Wiry brown, black and grey hair is applied for the hair, eyebrows, moustache and beard.

Vertical bag with long brown shoulder strap. Bag is entirely covered with small white-grey shells tied onto the surface. Four curved white-yellow tusks and three locks of black hair are also affixed to the front of the bag.

Two twisted bundles of goat hair rope. One rope (part a) is dark brown, and grey. The other rope (part b) is light brown, and grey.

Stringed instrument with bow attached, made of brown finished wood; 2 pegs and 2 strings stretched over a bridge attached to decorative metal plate. Bow is strung with hair. Red fabric tie embroidered in gold, green, blue and black is attached to instrument.

White face mask with five raised ridges on forehead, raised eyebrows with black dots and a tuft of light brown hair, teardrop-shaped eyes, two wavy lines that extend out from the bottom of the nose to the sides of the mask at each side, a bushy moustache of light brown hair that extends out sideways as well as down over the open mouth. Fabric and fabric ties attached at back of mask; inscriptions on inside.
