Sample Textile1766/14

An off-white textile adhered to a paper background. The textile shows a flower motif outlined in brown. There are three snail-like patterns in centre of a bouquet. In the bouquet, one snail-like pattern is orange, four leaves are green and many flowers are white with a tiny bit of colour. The bow and scattered leaves surrounding the flowers are outlined in brown. Several lines come together in circles under the bouquet and are coloured red, green, orange, brown and purple. There is a red seal stamp beside a purple 'No. 3' stamp in the lower right corner of the paper.

Si-Si-Ootle Serpent1666/8 a-k

Deep, rectangular sisiutl feast dish (part a)with two sisiutl heads protruding from either side (parts h and i))--long red tongues (parts f and k) protrude from these two heads. The protruding heads and the two sisiutl faces painted on opposite sides of the dish all have curved red and black fin-like ears--two apiece for the faces on the dish (parts b-e) and one each for the protruding heads(parts g and j). Dish is painted using red, black, green and white paint.
