Book of St. Matthew written in Tamil. Pages are made of palm leaf with a hole through which string is threaded to wrap around the book. Nine pages have writing on both sides, one page has writing on one side and one outer page is blank.

Ten figures representing people on a wood base. Facial features are outlined with red, and black. Table, and its accessories are accented with red and black. The main scene (part a) consists of a figure seated behind a table with a figure standing to his left and two captives kneeling before him. The wood base has many metal bits protruding, indicating the various detached standing figures (parts b-g). Part b: a man with his hands through a board; c: a man wearing a top-like hat while holding a red and black wood paddle in his right hand; d: a man wearing a rounded hat while holding a short stick in his left hand; e: a man wearing a rounded hat with both his hands flaring outward at his sides; f: a man wearing a top-like hat while holding a short red stick in his right hand; and g: a man with the top of his head flattened and his hands flaring outward at an angle from his sides.

Pair of green and white women's shoes (parts a and b). Wide opening at the top. Fabric around opening is higher at the heel than at the toe. Large green pom-pom of gathered fibre threads are attached to the toe. A thick green band is wrapped around the lower portion of the shoe and is embellished by scrolled designs made with silver and white sequin beads. Fibre cording is looped through an opening at the top of the shoe to be wrapped around the ankle. On the inside of each shoe, there are handwritten Chinese characters in blue.
