Cellophane package with string tie contains four folded balloons of decreasing size and printed paper labels. Balloons are coloured mostly pink and white, or purple and white.

Carp-shaped windsock, decorated in bright colours has open wired mouth and circular eye rimmed in yellow, black and purple. Gills are yellow, scales are red and edged in white and black. There is a green teardrop-like mark and yellow fan lines on narrowest part of each scale. Straight yellow, red and black lines are painted on the tail.

Wire frame in shape of t with two cross-pieces; four small pin wheels attached to ends of cross-pieces and one 10.5 cm from bottom of handle. Brass horse with Chinese character on back at top, below which is larger pinwheel with bell at centre, below which is rectangular plaque with four Chinese characters.

Javanese Wayang Kulit puppet of monkey general. Brown pudgy body with red face, red and white eyes, open mouth with red teeth. Curling black beard and hair; feet set wide apart on red base. Wears yellow, blue, red, headdress; bracelets on wrists and ankles and on upper arms. Necklace extending to waist. Bare upper torso. Wears checked black and white skirt with red lines, blue, green, black, white, flounces going down legs and between legs onto base. Plastic rivets on elbows and shoulders. Green stick ties horn to hands. Support stick goes from head, down body and extends further to a carved pointed end. Paint faded or peeled off in areas. Three fingers missing on one hand. A bird is on hat, and one on his waist sash.

A large shadow puppet of a Chinese man. Wearing an elaborate ceremonial hat once red, green, yellow, and pink, now colours faded in most areas. Wearing long oriental style robes with floral decoration on half of the body on the front. Large green sleeves edged with pink. Has black high heeled shoes. Plastic rivets on shoulders, elbows, hands, and knees. One right angled black water buffalo horn stick pointed downwards connected to the hat end with black string. One black horn stick on each hand.

A large shadow puppet of a male Chinese warrior with a black chin beard and a long black moustache. Floral warrior hat. Wearing long sleeved floral robes with matching trousers. Flowers are pink and yellow with green leaves. Edges of sleeves and trouser bottoms are black as are his shoes. Plastic rivets at shoulders, elbows, hands, hips, and knees. One handling stick is at an angle facing down tied to the ear and the hat.

Wearing a floral robe of red, yellow, green, pink, and light brown with trousers to match, and black sandals. Joined in the shoulder, elbow, waist, hips, hands, and fingers with plastic rivets on the arm parts, and hide rivets on the body. Black horn bent at right angle following length of hair connected to sideburn with black string.

Wearing black high cut Manchu laced boots and intricate floral robes with trousers to match. Three horn handling sticks, one at the back of the head bending downwards at a right angle, tied with black string, and one at each hand tied also with black string. Plastic rivets connect parts, shoulder, elbows, hands, waist, and hips. One boot shows completely while with the other, only the foot appears from under the long robes.

Rectangular beige fabric with thick black rectilinear designs and thin lines inside, cross and square motifs. Ends unfinished. The patterns are split into quadrants, divided by coloured solid lines in red and purple, outlined in black. The largest quadrant is a rectangular panel the length of the piece. A wide central panel above it is flanked by two smaller panels. The lengthwise edges have painted bands of yellow, red, green, and brown, and the ends have solid brown stripes. The patterns is each quadrant are different in design, motif, and scale.

Rectangular book with crinkled paper covers; pages have folded edges to outside; free edges and cover are bound in Japanese style with yellow thread through four holes. Cloth reinforcements at bound corners. White label printed in black and red characters on front cover for Japanese text (opening from left). Inside covers are red-brown; white scalloped 'lacy' paper on Japanese text side. Opening on right reveals English text.
