Large, light blue t-shirt with printed design on front, and text on the back and sleeves. Design is made up of text, in Bislama, forming a dark green plastic bag. Text translates to “No plastic bags, please!”. Extending from the top of the bag is a long, knotted strap. Small tassels protrude from the bottom corners. Logos for the Vanuatu Climate Action Network and the Oxfam charity organization are printed on the sleeves in black. Across the back of the t-shirt there is dark green text, in Bislama, asking individuals to sign an online petition.

Green t-shirt with identical printed design on left breast and back. Design is of a person sitting cross-legged on the ground. Their left hand is covering their face, the right is resting against their leg and gesturing to a red plate with a vatu banknote on it. Large red text, in Bislama, is printed to the figure’s right. On the front, the text translates to: “Are you able to eat money?!”. On the back, the text translates to: “Selling land? Think carefully about it…”. Black text underneath the figure, spanning the entire bottom half of the t-shirt, translates to: “Are you able to eat money?!”.

Our Ancestors' Trail: Real Camo3491/1

Lightbox photograph. Large digital photographic print mounted inside a painted, wood-framed lightbox, painted black. Print depicts three figures wearing grey camouflage on a mountainside. The mountainside stretches from the top left to the bottom right corner of the horizontal print. In the other half of the image, the cloudy sky is shown and another trapezoid-shaped mountain is visible in the background. The three figures are spaced evenly along the mountainside and are shown in profile. The figure higher up the slope is sitting with knees bent, head down and arms circling their knees. Figure in middle is most in focus, shown kneeling on the ground, head bent forward, with their arms stretched out in front. Silkscreened Bag3481/1

Canvas drawstring bag with repeating silkscreen-printed thunderbird motif. The thunderbird bodies are forward facing, with heads in profile. They are made of black designs with red highlights throughout. Black band border along bottom edge with alternating triangle motif. Bottom triangles are black. Top row has black triangular outlines; the rest of the space is naturally coloured. Black drawstring ties are on the front and back centre of bag, along the top edge. Holes for ties outlined with brass-coloured metal. Seam along back centre. Interior lined with clear plastic. Paper label with design and artist information affixed to base.

Illuminated Qur’an, with naskh script written in black ink and pages edged with gold leaf. Covers and spine made of black leather, with raised floral and curvilinear motifs throughout. Long oval in centre of each cover, with stamped motifs. Spine is undecorated. Flap closure attached to back cover. Flap lined in dark red cloth, covers lined with blue-grey paper. Each page of the Qur’an has lines of script, with circular motifs throughout sentences, bordered by simple red, black and gold lines. The first two pages are highly decorated. Motifs done in gold and blue, with pink, yellow, red and grey-green highlights throughout. Designs include plain lines, curvilinear lines, flowers, and hearts. Pink, blue and gold decorative bands divide sections of text. Some pages have floral and star-like designs along the edges. Designs done in pink, green, blue, yellow and gold.

Illuminated Qur’an with script written in black and green ink. Covers and spine made of brown leather, with painted designs on the covers. Front cover has a central oval-like shape, with curvilinear attachments on the sides. Back has an oval-like shape, with scalloped sides. Green floral designs inside of oval. Spine is undecorated. Covers lined with white paper. Each page of the Qur’an has lines of script, with red highlights throughout, bordered by stylized, gold leaf frames. Frames have dark blue lines protruding from all sides. Black and dark blue floral and curvilinear motifs decorate the frames. The first two pages of the Qur'an have additional decoration. The stylized frames have an inner white band with floral and dot motifs. Motifs done in white, pink, light blue and dark green. Some pages have large, green dots along the edges.

Illuminated Qur’an with script written in black ink. Covers made of brown leather, with incised and painted decorations. Spine made of painted cloth. Front cover has a raised, inner border, outlined in black paint on the outer edge and a wide band of gold leaf along the inner edge. Alternating incised lines and dots along the raised portion. Lines done in black, circles in gold. In the centre of the cover is a raised oval, with pointed ends, outlined in gold and black. Black curvilinear motifs across surface of oval, with impressed dots on each side. Dots are filled with gold leaf. Back cover has a raised, inner border, outlined in black and gold on either side. Covers lined with paper. Each page of the Qur’an has lines of script, with floral motifs throughout sentences, bordered by simple black and gold lines. The first two pages are highly decorated. Motifs are done in gold and blue, with pink, red, white and orange highlights throughout. Designs include curvilinear lines, feathers, flowers and arrows. Gold, red and blue decorative bands, with floral motifs, divide sections of text. Some pages have curvilinear designs along the edges. Designs are done in gold, blue and red, and filled with floral motifs. Pencil inscription on last page.

Illuminated Qur’an with naksh script written in black ink. Covers and spine made of brown-red leather, with identical floral, geometric and curvilinear motifs stamped both covers. Spine is undecorated. Edges of covers trimmed with two lines, circles in the corners. Raised, inner border, covered in motifs, surround a long oval. Circles in corners of raised portion. Ovals are filled with floral designs and bordered with curvilinear lines. Two bands, made of three plain lines and circles, extend from the top and bottom points of the ovals. They meet with the inner, raised borders. Flap closure attached to back cover, with matching designs along the surface. Spine of flap has stamped circles and lines. Flap and covers lined with white paper. Each page of the Qur’an has lines of script, with gold leaf and red paint highlights throughout, bordered by simple red and dark brown lines. The first and last page are highly decorated. Motifs on first page done in gold and blue, with dark purple, dark green, yellow and white highlights throughout. Designs include curvilinear lines, geometric forms, star-like shapes and flowers. Motifs on last page are done in gold, dark purple and blue. Designs are circular and curvilinear, text is written in red. Some pages of the Qur’an have characters written in red and black along the edges. Pages are numbered in pencil, in the bottom corners.

Folder that holds set of 12 posters (3451/1-12). Consists of two pieces of matboard, taped together. Front has a blue sticker, with dark purple formline designs, in the bottom right corner. Joss paper hat-style offering. Circular frame composed of stiff paper, with a tent-like section folded down at centre. The paper has a bold pattern of black hexagons with white flowers within, and a bright blue in the space between hexagons. There is a half-circle gold-coloured imitation foil decoration on one face of the hat.
