A bundle of tassels, or fringe from a garment that has been cut off and tied together. The tassels are made from lengths of skin wrapped in porcupine quill and ending with copper cones and very coarse hair. The catalogue card states this is a bunch of Indian bells which probably resulted from the fact the tassels are partly made from small copper cones which jingle when shaken (G.Crowther).; Good.The cones are made of iron not copper

Roof Cross2738/203

Large cross made of green painted iron bars with pointed tip at bottom has several decorative metal cut-outs attached that swivel on nails. Four yellow flames project out from a disc at the centre cross point, on top of which sits a red strawberry-like shape. Lower on the cross, two creamy white doves drink from a gold chalice and two praying angels in blue and white striped robes kneel on a semi-circular swing-like bar.

Standing black painted abstract devil ("Exu") figure. Male figure with eyes, mouth and eyebrows painted red. He is naked, with long pointed horns and long tail that touches the ground, and holds a trident (b) in his right hand and a pointed staff (c) in his left. Appendages have been screwed or soldered onto a piece of iron rod worked into a rough body shape.
