Irregularly-shaped diamond breast ornament; made out of plant fibre. Surface is covered in small cowrie shells; horizontal diamond-like opening in centre of ornament, showing fibre beneath. Shells surrounding opening are woven into a star-like pattern; rest of shells are attached in straight lines. Nine egg cowrie shells hang from both sides of the ornament (18 total). Pendant made of two tusks, forming a circle, hangs from a twisted fibre cord at the bottom; loop cord at top of ornament. Back of ornament is undecorated. (Also 1 extra, loose egg cowrie shell with stick attachments.)
Black stone carving of a kneeling woman, cleaning a seal skin. The seal flippers project out at the front; the woman holds a white ulu (part b) in her right hand; she is carved as wearing an amauti style parka with a large hood on the back. The base is inscribed 'A Maktak Pond Inlet'; also a green co-op sticker.
Small carving of a seal. The seal is on its stomach with its head raised and looking left. The body is propped up on its fore flippers. Its lower body is curved to the left, hind flippers pointed to the right. Circular indents in the face, imitating eyes and nostrils, with an incised line below, imitating the mouth. Claws are carved in relief. Carving is unsigned.
