Long, straight, dark brown bamboo pipe with ivory (?) rings at both ends. A raised silver metal fitting near the end of the pipe connects it to a flared, circular stone container--container has a red band with characters around its circumference and a red circle with a curvilinear design on its top.
A short double-sided dark brown wood cylindrical drum known as damaru (ཌ་མ་རུ་) with a fibre band covered in fabric wrapped around the middle part which is painted red. Attached to the band are two rope cords, one of which has a ball at the end. There is a white loop through the band and a cowrie shell. Orange twirled fibre string is looped around the band. The drum is decorated on the sides with white and red circles.
A long light stick which is decorated with black dots and has a silvery metal end which has a gold-coloured hook in a loop through which a flat circular gold-coloured metal piece with an angled rim is attached with three fibrous strings. There is a pyramidal gold-coloured metal weight with a black string through its loop at the top.
Cylindrical wooden canister with metal ends--canister's centre is wrapped in yellow, floral fabric. Canister's interior has ten carved vertical slots holding an assortment of eating utensils--a spoon, chopsticks, a knife, two prong-like objects, and a long tapered ivory stick. Canister's lid is tied to main object with a length of brown cord.
Double-sided drum known as damaru (ཌ་མ་རུ་). Drum has two dome-shaped pieces that are attached back to back. Skin has been stretched over wooden base. There is a thick skin band around centre of the drum that attaches to a circular button and a braided metal ring. Two smaller fibre strands are attached to the central skin band.
Ivory and gold knife. Handle is round, narrows to a metal band, a globular metal piece with ornate flower and diamond designs, and another metal band. The knife blade (part a) is attached to a diamond-shaped scalloped edge plate and is inserted in the sheath (part b). From the top of the opening down to the end of the sheath, the outer covering has a thick band of engraved metal with curved and swirled designs, a protruding looped piece attached with fibre and has a pointed scalloped edge and central gold coloured oval-shaped piece, a central ivory piece, and a long band of engraved metal with an oval-shaped rim on the end.
Ivory coloured silk(?) fan with ivory coloured lace trim and white coloured floral and leaf designs with silver sequences across the length of the piece. There are thirty-one panels that are attached together by a pin and a white looped clasp found at the bottom of the fan.
Slender, curved, dark brown tusk-shaped object that tapers to a point. Object is carved and held vertically by a square black plastic base. The upper half is carved into the shape of a human with a tall, conical hat and hands clasped in front of themselves. The bottom half is carved with ornate patterns, giving the impression that the figure is standing on a pillar or pedestal.
A white-yellow, elliptical container (part a) with a rectangular and a square compartment. The rectangular compartment houses a rectangular seal of the same material (part c) with characters and a landscape scene engraved and painted on the front and one side--a rounded, elliptical lid for the container (part b) has a similar image depicted on the top. Red ink stains are visible within the container and on the bottom of the seal. The entire container is housed in an embroidered rectangular box with a clear plastic window in the lid.
