Each side of the handle is inlaid with an ivory plaque carved with a dragon figure; lotus carved ivory at end . Sheath (b) of wood with gold lacquer bamboo leaf design, inlaid with insects and plants of ivory, mother-of-pearl, and stones, with ivory end; wood badly split, inlays crudely repaired. Small blade, curved, is missing handle; stained red.

Around the upper rim, there is a decorative border of bats while around the lower portion of the main scene, there is a border of waves, below which, there is a border of petals. The stopper (part b) is made of orange coral surrounded by green jade. The wood stand (part c) has the shape of a circle, and has three legs.

A flat circular-shaped snuff bottle (part a) that is speckled glass in colours of green, purple, red, and yellow on white background. There is a stopper (part b) that is made of an orange stone (?) encased in metal. The wood stand (part c) has the shape of an oval, and has four legs.

A closing fan with eighteen inner ribs of ivory covered with silk fibre that is painted and embroidered with polychrome floral designs across the entire fan. The two parent ribs are elaborately carved with a floral motif. There is a metal loop with rivets.

A bamboo tube with one end open. Bands of woven rattan are around the top and bottom. Two brass rods are attached with string. Each rod has an ivory knob at each end.
