A closing fan with eighteen inner ribs of ivory covered with silk fibre that is painted and embroidered with polychrome floral designs across the entire fan. The two parent ribs are elaborately carved with a floral motif. There is a metal loop with rivets.

A bamboo tube with one end open. Bands of woven rattan are around the top and bottom. Two brass rods are attached with string. Each rod has an ivory knob at each end.

Pair of hair ivory hair pins carved in the form of cranes; details are painted in black, gold and red.

Pair of chopsticks bound together by two strips of orange-brown coloured paper. In between the sections of paper, there is a painted picture of a landscape and seascape with the sun setting.

Pair of white chopsticks that has black horn tips on the hand-end that is connected with iron or silver rivets. Ends of the chopsticks are pointed.

Plain ink container. The lid is copper lined. The ink container is cylindrical and has a long stem handle with an adornment in between the two through which a black string is looped. The handle is spotted.
