Knife (a) with sheath (b) in which a small blade (c) is inserted. Knife has a curved blade etched (?) on one side with series of irregular, dark, patch-like shapes. The blade passes through a silver-coloured steel (?) sheath, with the tang (two-holed) inserted into the wooden handle, passing through a gold lacquered wooden guard. Each side of the handle is inlaid with an ivory plaque carved with a dragon figure; lotus carved ivory at end . Sheath (b) of wood with gold lacquer bamboo leaf design, inlaid with insects and plants of ivory, mother-of-pearl, and stones, with ivory end; wood badly split, inlays crudely repaired. Small blade, curved, is missing handle; stained red.

A small square black box (part a) inlaid with engraved mother of pearl shell, and having a fitted lid (part b). The top of the lid (part b) has two gentlemen in a garden setting. The sides are decorated with flowers, and peach motifs.

Box with lid. Interior and exterior plain black. Split woven bamboo, heavily lacquered.

One side is flat and other side is curved. Red interior and black exterior. Unmarked; price tag attached.

Scoop shape. Red, brown transparent finish.

Heavily lacquered; rectangular bottom, rounded rim; half is red and half is black. Labels on bottom: "Y 120 -", "9".

Red mace with a large, hooked end; covered with patterns and imagery in relief. Hooked section has a garden setting with two human figures. Handle section has a peach tree, crane, bat, key patterns, floral designs. Small overall design on back. (Stand is part b.)
