Sago peg with carved head. Peg is split from its tapered bottom through the thicker middle to the carved head, which features the face of a man under the figure of a bird. The long face spans two facets of the roughly diamond-shaped head, with engraved eyes, heavy brow and long pointed nose over protruding lips in an undercut chin. A bird sits on the man's head, curled into itself, with long pointed beak dropping down toward the man's forehead. It is painted black and dark brown, with round, light brown eyes.

The rope is knotted on one side of the instrument.
Set of bamboo clappers (part a) and accompanying cloth bag (part b). Instrument consists of five rectangular pieces of curved bamboo seperated by metal coins. The bamboo is finished in lacquer. These are joined together with a thick, braided red cotton rope looped through two holes bored through each clapper and the square holes at the centre of each coin. The rope is decoratively knotted on one side, with tassels falling from the knot. The cotton carrying bag is blue with a white pattern of foliage and dots. It closes with a pull tie at top.
Carved wooden mask. Face is long and narrow, with a dark, pointed beard and tall hairstyle topped by a bun. Inner portion of the face is a light tan colour, with bulging eyes, a small, narrow nose, and protruding diamond shaped mouth. Two rows of small squares decorate the cheeks. The forehead and edges of the face are painted red, with a diamond shape carved on forehead at centre, and two small round ears protruding from sides. The back rim of the mask is large, unpainted, and carries two bored holes on each side and at top. It has been lacquered on the interior.
