Woven pandanus mat made of two long, thin sections woven together down a centre seam. The mat has three sections - tightly woven centre decorated with stenciled zigzag lines. Both end section has woven open-work patterns with stenciled concentric diamonds overtop. These sections are lined on the long edge with fringe, also dyed red.

Woven pandanus mat made of two long, thin sections woven together down a centre seam. The rectangular mat has three sections - the centre is tightly woven with two areas of stencil-dyed geometric designs. Both end sections have woven open-work patterns and are lined on all three edges with long fringe. The red fringe on the short edge extends out of short plaited pieces.

Large woven basket with a long handle that extends overtop of the entire basket; strap ends are stitched along top interior edge. Strap consists of three coiled strands. Handle has stiffened and sits above rim of basket. Body is circular and has a wide coiled rim. Sides and base are decorated with bands of alternating open and closed weave; open sections have a grid pattern with diagonal lines throughout them. Entire basket is naturally coloured.

Wide brimmed, dome-shaped hat woven from palm leaves. Hat frame formed with an inner rod. Four groupings of red and blue tassels, tied together with braided cords, secured at intervals along the bottom edge. Star-shaped medallion with fringe on top centre of hat. Design consists of concentric circles and stars; done in red, yellow, dark blue, white and light green beads. Long feather attached to middle of medallion with red cord. Extending outward from the star, to the edges, are black, dark yellow and red beaded lines; dividing the hat into triangle-shaped sections. Matching line borders upper section of hat, before it slopes towards the brim. Band of red and dark yellow diamonds above border, connected to one another with black dots. Green painted decorations across interior of hat, matching beaded line pattern on surface. Hat band attached to interior, woven from rattan(?) strips and lined with patterned cloth. Red tassels on either side of band.

Wide brimmed, circular hat woven from palm leaves. Hat frame formed with rattan(?) coils; bottom coil is naturally coloured, top is dyed dark red. Top of hat is covered in cloth. Edges are trimmed with sections of red, dark blue and light green, divided by groupings of multicoloured stripes. Large yellow circle in centre, bordered with a black beaded zigzag. Overtop is a red, four-pointed curvilinear motif. Motif is outlined in alternating black and white beads, with beaded squares in the centre of each point. Squares have diagonal lines through them; beads are black, yellow, green and white. In centre of motif, on the tip of the hat, is a sun-shaped medallion with fringe. Medallion consists of concentric circles and suns; done in red, green, yellow, black and white beads. Strands of beads extend from centre of medallion. Hat band attached to interior, woven from rattan(?) strips and covered with teal cloth. Band lined with paper.

White beaded chin strap, with red tassels, tied to either side. Inscription painted along interior rim.

Circular basket with flared opening. Walls gently slope into a convex base. Walls decorated with a zigzag pattern. Between the zigzags are hourglass-like designs. They alternate between small ones, that reach halfway down the walls, and larger ones that extend from the rim to the base. Larger ones have curved prongs on top. Base dyed dark brown-red. Patterns are visible on interior and exterior. Basket is light brown-grey, designs are done in dark brown-red.

Circular basket with flared opening. Walls gently slope into a flat base. Five-petal flower design in centre bottom, with petals extending upward onto bottom third of walls. Row of rounded triangles above petals. Patterns are visible on interior and exterior. Designs are naturally coloured golden brown, rest of basket is dyed dark orange.

Circular basket with flared opening. Walls slope into a small flat base. Basket walls are decorated with columns of “V” shapes. Motifs extend downward from rim, touching the edge of the base. “V”’s increase in size from rim to base. Base is undecorated. Patterns are visible on interior and exterior. Basket is golden brown, designs are done in dark brown-red. Donor tags attached to base exterior.
