Wolf Pendant2776/1

Three-dimensional wolf head pendant carved from yew on a leather chain. Pendant has inlaid abalone squares around outside edge, and ovals as eyes and inlaid pieces around outer ear edges. Features around lips, inner ears and negative space of pendant are painted red. Copper cut-outs used as eyebrows, sides of nose, tongue, inner ears and claws of front feet. There are also very small circles of copper inlaid between the abalone along the edge. A fine braided leather chain with a gold clasp is attached through a gold fixture on the back of the pendant. Back has seven small holes, six of which contain copper rivets; artist signature Reid-'77.

Moccasins2762/4 a-b

Pair of moccasins decorated at the toe with short horizontal strings of small glass beads. The thick strip is made up of a yellow line with navy crosses between two lines of alternating red and blue triangles. Stiff yellow leather soles are sewn to cream-coloured deer ? skin tops with thick heel seams and skin laces threaded through one hole.

Moccasins2762/3 a-b

Pair of moccasins with beaded mountain design in green, yellow and red on a white background. Beads are sewn onto a backing of brown fabric that is sewn together at the heel and then sewn onto a leather sole (one is made of a few pieces). Also sewn on are long skin fringes at the heel, a tongue with forked end, and a cuff border of dark brown fabric. Short skin strips lace through one hole.

A version of Noah's ark (name NOE painted at the front and back), the orange ship is sailing on blue waves with a cargo of a giraffe, a zebra, a blue hippopotamus, a blue and red leopard, a black bear (all with painted leather ears), and a green elephant.
