Carved, wooden, Hokhokw bird mask with a long beak and circular cutout nostrils. The beak is hinged with pieces of leather on either side, nailed to the jaw. The beak and nostrils are painted black with orange edging. There are five orange U-forms carved at the back of the beak running towards the nostril; in front of nostril is an orange, light orange and white U-form. Part of the nostril extends upward creating an ovoid shaped projection on top of the beak. The eyes are white, outlined in black on a white, ovoid shaped background with orange U-forms; brow is black. Attached to the top of the head are short strips of cedar bark creating a fringe. Tied to the sides with twine are small bundles of cedar; longer strips are attached to the bottom rim and hang down to cover the body of the wearer. The inside of the mask is hollow with the exception of an attached twine cord that assisted the beak in opening and shutting. The mask is painted black, orange and white with Northwest Coast stylized designs.

There is a crescent shaped cut out of the bottom of the beak. Attached with staples to the top, back and bottom rim is a blue cloth hangs down to cover the body of the wearer. Wooden, carved bear mask with a long snout painted black and red circular cutout nostrils. The jaw is hinged with a piece of leather nailed, on either side, to the lower mouth. The face is black with white edging; black outlined eyes on a green, ovoid shaped background; brow is black. There are two holes on the top where the ears used to be. The inside of the mask is hollow with the exception of a twine cord that attaches to the mouth and a rubber lining. Baleen framework at back of mask to facilitate wearing. The mask is painted black, green, red and white with Northwest Coast stylized designs.
Large red trunk with rounded lid and black metal studding along the top edge and sides. On the front is painted “Made in Kumlon Chang Co., Chong Yueneong Street, Canton” in yellow. Beneath the lettering is a yellow number "3" and circle with red flowers and green leaves. Flanking the circle are green vertical stripes with yellow Chinese characters. On the left side is a yellow Canadian Pacific Express Company prepaid sticker. There are metal rings, hooks and handles on the four sides. The inside of the trunk is covered with paper, painted brown. There is a black leather strap nailed to the lid. There are three boards (part b-d) that fit across the top.
Sword (part a) has straight two-edged blade and elaborate full-cage hand protecting the hilt with a cross incorporated into the design. Shiny metal twine bound around the leather grip. Scabbard (part b) made of wood covered with leather. Brass decorative casing near the opening with repousse worked floral design and two moss agates inset. Woven red and yellow belt attached with rings.
Carved wooden, crooked beak headdress, or mask. The beak has large red, triangular shaped nostrils outlined with a black and white s-form. Running from the brow is a small central black frill that protrudes outward and curves inward to the centre tip of the beak and back into itself; decorated with white semi-circles. The mouth is red, flat and protruding. The bottom parts of the beaks are hinged with rectangular pieces of leather. The face is black with white detailing. The eyes are black and large, outlined in white and red on a white ovoid shaped ground; brow is black. The underside of the beak is black. The inside of the mask is hollow with the exception of a piece of fibre twine that helped articulate the beak. Attached to the top edge is a twist rope of red and white fabric. The top has many bundles of small stripes of cedar bark. Hanging from the back and bottom edges are long strips of cedar that would cover the wearer. The mask is painted black, white and red with Northwest Coast stylized forms.
Wooden, carved, raven mask with a long beak with round, cutout nostrils. The beak is hinged with pieces of skin on either side, nailed to the lower mouth. The beak and nostrils are painted black with white and red edging; orange split "u" design extends from the nostril to back of mouth. The eye is outlined in black and red on a white background; eyebrow is black. The head of the bird is flat with cedar bark fringe on top and along the sides. The inside of the mask is hollow.
Two rounded, lozenge-shaped pieces of mottled white-yellow and brown tusk; bound together with a leather thong and string.
Brown leather purse with red and black designs, flaps and tassels. The body of the purse is black with red trim around the edges. There are two brown flaps, one on the front and back. On the flap is a black diamond with curled ends surrounded by four red hearts. Around the flap is a red checked border. The designs on the flap are the same on both sides. The flaps are closed with a large brown and white button. Hanging from the beneath the flaps is a brown leather tassel. The handle of the purse is a dark brown cord threaded through brown loops attached to the body of the purse and secured by brown and white buttons on the ends. Hanging down the sides of the purse, beneath the brown loops, are long and short decorated leather strips and a long fringe.
