Brown-black wood piece that has a handle in the form of a crouching human figure. Body is decorated with crescent-shaped lines. Face has circular eyes and a long nose as well as a brow line, and an open mouth with jagged teeth. A knob is at the top of the head. There is a band of triangles around the base of the figure. Designs emphasized with lime. 'Blade' tapers to a flat rounded point and is perpendicular to the human figure.

Brown-black wood piece that flares upward along the handle where two symmetrical birds are back to back on handle end with spiral patterns. Short 'blade' tapers to a flat rounded point. The space in between has a ridge on either side with a heart-shaped face at the bottom end. Designs emphasized with lime.

A small brown wood bowl carved in the shape of a tortoise. Carved designs filled with white lime. The head has circular eyes and a mouth. The body is outlined with a segmented tubular pattern having a circle at the front, the back, and in the middle of each side. While the front legs are shorter than the back legs, they are all have a swirled partial feather-like design.

Lime Container1543/4 a-b

Container made of a hollow bone decorated with incised geometric patterns. One end is plugged with a piece of dark brown wood while the other has a removable wooden stopper in the shape of a man; the man's face is recessed except for the nose and forehead; ears and a headdress protrude from the head; body is decorated with arms in relief above a recessed band that then flares out to the bottom. A white powdery substance, lime ?, is in the crevices of the incised decoration.

Brown-black wood piece that has a handle carved in a spiral design. Spiral design is consisting of three interconnected spiral curls along the 'back side' with a circle in between and having the main part of the handle which has a larger spiral curl curve underneath the three interconnected ones. In the middle, there is a three-prong v-shape. At the top, there is a fish-like design with a spiral curled tail. Designs emphasized with lime. 'Blade' tapers to a flat rounded point and is perpendicular to the handle.

Carved wood drum with an hourglass-like shape. There is a rounded, rectangular shaped handle on the side; opposite is a carved, cutout design of two bird figures. The central surface is detailed with an incised geometric design with white pigment in the cuts. Reptile skin is resting on the top of the drum; binding is missing.

Ancestor MaskIe487

Carved wood ancestor mask consisting of a head with an elongated brow; a long nose, mouth. The top of the head is decorated with cassowary feathers and two rows of cowrie shells. The forehead, sides and chin of the face are painted with black pigment and are inlaid with rows of numerous small shells. The face is decorated with white and black detailing on a brown ground. There is a long, cylindrical shaped piece of wood that stretches from the bottom of the nose to the bottom of the mask that makes up the body of a crocodile; on the end is the reptiles head which faces downwards. The lower sides and bottom are lined with small bundles of sennit fibre.
