Round metal button with surface designs in high relief: monkey-like human figure in copper inlay has bushy eyebrows and chin and wears cloth covering (in gold inlay) below large stomach. Stands on muscled legs while carrying on back, human. Latter dressed in long patterned robe; holds on by hands below other's chin while face looks back. Human's face, cloth head covering, belt, foot, and hands in gold inlay. Engraving on ground shows water, tree trunk, and limbs. Possible artist's signature engraved on left. Remaining area has blackened finish. Reddish-coloured reverse side with slightly elevated rim has angular cut copper loop attached.

Round metal button with surface designs in high relief: robust figure of bald-headed man wading through water. He wears draped pants, cloak and carries items on his back from over-the-shoulder pole supported out front by both hands. Fan-like item in copper inlay attached to end of pole at his back. Elevation is highly polished to smooth gold-coloured finish. Reverse with elevated rim: central area has spotted copper and lacquer-like finish with soldered loop attached over top.

Light brown leather belt with a light weight silver buckle. Dark brown narrow band at buckle to hold the pointed end of the belt down. The length of the belt is decorated by an angled 'x' design, pressed into it. There are sixteen notch holes.

Carved, wooden mask depicting Dzunuk’wa. The humanoid face with pursed red lips, high cheekbones, raised eyebrows and deeply set eyes, with a series of parallel horizontal lines incised next to them. There are two metal eyehooks attached to the back rim of the mask with a metal wire tied to them.

Model totem pole figures (part a) portraying a raven(?) and a Sisiutl which has panels (parts b and c) that are inserted into the base of the pole and project from each side. Overall, painted with the colours black, red, and green. Figures are secured to a rounded base with nails.

Warrior dance knife, or baton in the form of Sisiutl. A flat downward curved wood piece with a central frontal head and a profile head on either side. The two side profile heads have long upward curving protruding tongues. Painted red, black, and green. There is a metal hook on top of both side heads.

Mask representing a supernatural halibut with curled ears, a protruding brow that comes to a rounded point between the eyebrows, a recurved nose, slightly protruding eyes and cheeks, and an upturned mouth with lips that come to a rounded peak at the centre and meet on either side of the centre midway from centre and sides. The mask is painted light grey with ears that have a black and red design on natural wood, black eyebrows, a black border that extends from below the eyebrows and over the chin, red nostrils and inner lips bordered in black with a read and black line above the upper lip, black scrolling designs around the mouth, and a black scalloped design representing gills on the cheeks. Pieces of off-white cotton fabric are attached to forehead. Wire attached to back with screw eyes.

Maiden Spirit MaskAf337

Mmwo helmet mask. Carved from a single piece of wood, the mask depicts a female face with a large ornate coiffure. A circular crescent, around a concentric circular plaque, rests on top of the head. Portions of the crest and parts of the hair are painted purple, also inside the nostrils. Black scarification marks spiral on the cheeks and are crosshatched on the forehead and the temples. Four loops of scarification drop from black painted lips. Eyes are small and narrow. Eyebrows have curly black hair glued on. A neckpiece of yellow, red, black, and white felt with purple and natural cotton is attached to the back by metal hooks.
