The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

Carved wooden lure (parts a-c), conical in shape. The body (part a) consists of a cone structure with a smaller cone mounted on top. Three, long wooden paddle-shaped projections are attached to the long cone with nails and are bound to the top with red cherry bark. Two projections are broken in half (part b-c), and the other is split lengthwise, at the bottom. There is an old adhesive, red and white label affixed to one half of broken projection that reads ‘Fish lure, Saanich Arm, 19-3’.

A tapering metal pin with two hollow round beads and a thin disc impaled on it through central holes. The blunt end of the pin is flattened, bent at a right angle, and the end of it is turned under into a loop. The beads are both assembled by joining hemispherical parts at the equator.
Knife (b) and sheath (a). The knife has a dark brown bone handle that fades to off-white where it joins the blade. The blade is sharpened on both sides and tapers to point. The sheath is laced together with sinew and has a loop at the top formed by a folded piece of leather.
