The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

Thin sheet metal in the shape of a bivalve, hinged with a fold. Convex surfaces have many raised bumps. Small holes for suspension pass through both sides of the hinge. There are faint textile impressions on one side.
A round, stone bowl with vertical exterior walls and sloping interior walls, the brown stone is only moderately smoothed. A section of the bottom has a silvery, metallic substance covering the irregular surface.
Oval-shaped hide backing with safety pin sewn on. Strands of beads sewn in concentric rows. Moving to the centre, dark blue strands alternate with dark blue and purple strands. Hide entirely covered by beadwork. Edging made of four purple bead strings extending out horizontally from hide; capped with one dark blue bead each. Three dark blue loops hang from base of edging, each capped by hourglass-shaped gold brown beads.
Circular hide backing with safety pin sewn on. Each alternating orange and dark blue strands of beads is sewn on in concentric rows. Affect created is alternating orange and dark blue sections, four of each radiating out from centre. Hide entirely covered by beadwork. Edging in alternating orange and dark blue pattern.
Crown fragment: u-shaped piece of sheet metal with three parallel prongs and eleven evenly-spaced hooks arranged in rows. Gilded surface. One disc remains suspended from a hook.
A band of sheet metal shaped into a ring. The two ends meet with a small gap.
A band of sheet metal shaped into a ring. There is a small gap between the two ends.
67 golden, ellipsoid beads strung on synthetic monofilament. The beads are rolled from a flat sheet of metal and have a simple lapped seam. The average bead length is 2.3 cm. and the diameter is 0.7 cm. The gold of the beads has a greenish cast and they are quite tarnished.
157 globular and biconical golden beads of the same approximate size strung on synthetic monofilament. They are constructed of two half spheres of metal that are forced together at the equator. Many of the beads have a darkened tarnish overlaying the golden surface. A number of the beads have holes or breaks, particularly along the seam. The stringing holes are roughly punctured.
11 spherical, gold beads. Each hollow bead is constructed from 2 hemispheres of thin sheet metal. One bead is convexly biconical in shape and has a duller surface.
