Flute of brown stained wood, which has a three part reed mouthpiece. There is a tube, and a bell. Mouthpiece has remains of fibre(?) reeds in a cylindrical metal container, both within a circular wooden enclosure. Tube of six finger holes, side by side, lengthwise. Base of bell has four holes equally spaced, cylindrically intersecting tube. White cotton thread is used acoustically to prevent air escape and as handle. Larger piece is part b, and smaller piece is part a.

Mask depicting an animal head (a) that is painted black overall with a long snout, a rounded ridge running from the top of the forehead to the tip of the animal's nose, large protruding eyes with black pupils set in red, ovoid sockets. Two black and red ears are inserted into holes in the right (b) and left (c) sides of the head. The animal's long, slightly opened mouth contains 22 white teeth on the upper jaw and 21 on the bottom. A red tongue cut from thin leather extends out the left side of the animal's mouth and has three holes cut in a row near the end.

A silver bracelet which has a flat inner surface and a slightly convex outer surface. The bracelet is formed of a length of silver with tapered ends bent in a circle and each end bent around the other so that they overlap 2.8 cm. There is a small coil around near each end of the bracelet. The ends can move on each other so that the circle is flexible.

A chain of circular double silver links, 0.6 cm. in diameter, for links. Soldered at each end, there are Netherlands Indies silver coins from 1945, denomination 1/10 g. Coins are attached by rings soldered at the centre on one side.

Mask depicting Pandam Paliya ("the torch-bearing apparition") with a humanoid face that is squarish in shape. The mask has bulbous eyes and nose with a wide mouth stretching across whole face. Each feature (eyes, cheeks, forehead, and nose) is a separate piece of wood wired together. Cloth covered wire outlines the back of the eyes and the bottom of left cheek. Oval mouth of red stuffed fabric wired at intervals around lips. White plastic teeth, two large protruding fangs on top row. Under nose and around mouth is a beard of black wool strands. Nose and cheeks are flesh-toned. Protruding eyes are carved on circular backgrounds with red, yellow and black petal designs on the lids. The black pupils are outlined in red. The brown wool eyebrows are knotted, tied and wired to the eyes. A label on the reverse reads, "PANDAM PALIYA: The torch-bearing appartition" in typed letters, and also a circled "7" in pencil.

Mask depicting Salu Paliya ("the shawl-clad apparition"). The mask has a fringe of dark brown hair around the top of the head, a black wool beard , and a moustache made of black knit fabric. The facial plane is rubber with eye holes cut in the cheeks, just below the eyes, and is painted black. The eyes and nose are made of wood and are nailed to the rubber. The lips are made from red cloth and tied to the rubber. The lower jaw is moveable. The separate white plastic teeth are sewn into the lips. The prominent nose is curved and painted orange-pink with a yellow and red stripe across the tip. The nostrils are flared, and the crease between the nose and nostril is defined with a black line. The eyes are discs and crescent-shaped with red and yellow eyelids that have radiating black lines. Strips of rubber are tied around centre of each lip and also serve as ties.
