Standing female figure with arms held out and away from body; arm on left is slightly higher; hand positions indicate they may have held attributes. Figure wears a blouse that wraps around shoulders and a simple skirt with a front panel. Figure has loose fitting large ankle bracelets. Ears are pierced. There is a small diamond shape protruding from the headband. The hair is pulled into a rolled knot.

Shrine with three standing figures all enclosed within a broad arch surmounted by a monster head. Male in centre flanked by two smaller females to both sides. Above head of male is a five-headed cobra canopy formed by the hood. Narrow rectangular base rests on four feet. Two square platforms project from base front at either end.

Costumed cloth hand puppet with carved and painted wooden head, hands and feet. Represents character of Bearded male (aggressive, with Daoist headgear and magical powers), Golden Rays style. Varnished two-toned pink face with black, white and red details. Gold crown with green and red, hair painted black with green/yellow detail, black hair beard attached in channel at chin, some missing on right side, two moustache tuffs. Body (part a) is undyed cotton flaps, attached around head, with attached pink hands with holes through sideways, partially stuffed with paper, stuffed grey cotton legs, white and green soled black boots. Pasted and stitched white silk robe (part b) with yellow and orange silk borders trimmed in pink, blue and whitish fur. Rows of silver, pink, and green sequins cover white silk. Red and silver foil wrapped thread, sequins on yellow silk, gold wrapped thread edging orange silk, with plastic sequin flowers and tin edged mirrors. Back and front centre, dragon-like figure, stuffed, covered in gold foil wrapped thread and trimmed in pink fur. Orange silk strip inside front side edge. Costume detachable, string tie at neck. Missing sequins, mirrors, torn at back where sleeves meet centre. Faint purple characters inside front bottom of costume at left, at back inside bottom centre and on back puppet flap.

Mask depicting Maha Sohona (a major devil with the head of a bear), also known as Valas Paliya (the bear apparition). The mask has a rounded snout with large nostrils, protruding eyes with black pupils each surrounded by a ring of red and with a hole under each as well as between the eyes. The mouth has red lips and jagged white teeth with a long tongue that protrudes out the front of the mouth and curls back under the chin. There are two small ears at the sides of the head, and the top of the head has an arched crest, below which is another crest with three ponts and incised vertical lines. There are two small protrusions at either side of the jaw, each with vertical incised lines. Label across inside above eyes reads, "MAHA SOHONA: Major Devil with Head of Bear. Also called Valas Paliya or Bear Apparition."

Mask Depicting Naga Kanya (who is the serpent virgin, a semi-human female serpent water spirit) with a pink face and a headdress formed by a large cobra head with its hood extended and three smaller cobra heads at the front and sides of the forehead. The face has thin black eyebrows, downward looking protruding eyes each with a crescent-shaped hole underneath, a pointed nose, elongated ears, and small red lips. The cobras are painted in different shades of grey and the scales are represented by overall cross-hatched black lines. Secondary colours detailing the features are white, red and black.

Humanoid figure puppet in three parts: head (part b), body (part a), pointed controlling rod (part c), and slender spherical controlling rod. Face, ears coloured blue; hooked nose, bulging white eyeballs with red irises, heavy black moustache. Red lips, protruding white teeth, no fangs. Red teardrop shape outlined in black on each cheek. Headdress has gold jamang, sumping, badong, and siyung jawi, with light red flower and green leaf motifs. Badong has two prongs; siyung jawi has yellow stripe at base. Gold, yellow and red Garuda Mungkur has red flower motifs, green leaves, white fang. Gold body has red, blue striped yoke, front and back. Gold arms have blue, yellow, red ornaments at bicep, wrist. One small nail on each shoulder, one centre chest. Kain has brown diagonal batik design. Operating rod unpainted, spear-shaped; fits through body, turns head. Body has white label: 'Suyadana Ondste ud Pandawa.' also black pen mark: 'I.S.J.D.N.'. Chipped paint on face, body, arms.

Male character in Daoist robe, Golden Rays style. Costumed, cloth hand puppet with carved, painted wooden head, hands, and feet. Forehead is green, back of head and eye areas are white, face and neck are pink, bird headdress is brown with black outlines suggesting feathers, red mouth is wide open, red dots on cheeks. Tan dyed hair, glued across top of head. Body (part a) is undyed cotton flaps, attaching around head, with attached white/cream hands with holes through sideways, partially stuffed with paper, stuffed legs, white and green soled black boots. Pasted and stitched blue silk, cotton lined robe (part b); sleeves pink/orange with orange borders and collar; blue, white, yellow and pink fur trim. Flower-like decorations, in foil wrapped thread, plastic sequins and tin edged mirrors. Yellow and white brocade trim at centre, backed with character printed paper. Costume is detachable, tied with cord at neck.

Body (part a), undyed cotton flaps, attached around head, attached white hands with holes through sideways, partially stuffed with paper, stuffed legs of pink and yellow patterned cotton, attached white and blue-green soled black boots. Pasted and stitched green silk robe (part b), orange and red silk border, green silk at front side edges, also inside front. Decorations include blue tin edged mirrors, red and green plastic sequins, white and pink fur trim. Centre front and back design of dragon in multiple rows of silver foil wrapped thread, pink plastic 'pearl' eyes, red and blue cord. Wrapped thread circle to upper left of centre. Detachable robe attached with cord at neck. Legible purple characters in oval on puppet flap.

Rod PuppetIb289 a-c

Three-dimensional male puppet (Petruk): large head (part b) fits into body with skirt (part a), and a control rod (part c) with a long shaft passes through the body and fits into the neck of the figure's head. The body has jointed arms, each with a long, black controlling rod attached. Carved wooden head has a pink face with black hair. A hump lies at the rear base of the skull. Face has exaggerated features, notably a long, bulbous nose inclined upward, and large bulging eyes with red irises. Red lips surround the wide, grimacing mouth, with a single wide tooth protruding from the middle of the top lip. Eyebrows are black and heavy. A small black moustache with a central triangular beard below the mouth joined to similar triangles of beard below the corners of the mouth. Thin, curling sideburns are found beside the ears decorated with four lines extending from a point. Cheeks, chin and forehead protrude. Lines below eyes, with stylized frown-lines between. The torso is dressed in a long-sleeved black cloth jacket with an upright collar, decorated at the back with 19 red and gold sequins. Chest has pattern of 27 red and gold sequins with zigzag gold braid. The pink wooden hands are outstretched, with thumbs inclined away from fingers. The skirt is of dark blue and green plaid cotton (with several small and one substantial- 2 cm- holes).
