Plain shaft which was feathered. End appears to be charred. Point is set in a barbed bone fore-shaft and then into the wood shaft. Point is a short triangular with rounded sides.

Small wood carving of the torso and head of a man. Finely modelled face that has rounded, circular eyes surrounded by a carved tapering oval, a wide, triangular nose, bulbous cheeks, and a slightly parted mouth. Wearing a sectioned, rounded, peaked cap. Out stretched arms are nailed and glued to the body and appear to have been holding something (perhaps a paddle). Lower body cut off in a wedge shape. Two grooves in the side of the body (perhaps to secure figure in a model canoe).
