Devil Mask2946/13

Large orange devil mask with four tall curving horns, four smaller flat horns and a dragon at the top. The bulging eyes have protruding black pupils and pink irises. Each eye has three spiked green eyelashes. The thick, bulbous eyebrows are furrowed. The snarling mouth has three pointed teeth, framed on either side by a pair of crossed fangs. There are large flame-like ears on either side, fading from black at the centre to orange, yellow, and white at the edges. Grooves in the ears and the dragon's wings, ears and arms are decorated with gold glitter. At the top of the forehead there are four medium-sized flat horns which fade from a dark brown-red at their bases to yellow at their tips. The two large outside horns have a deep curve. The two large inner horns have a concentric white and gold diamond pattern on the front. The dragon curves up from the middle of the head with short green arms and flame-like, yellow and brown wings; its open mouth has a row of pointed teeth at the top and a pronged tongue, and its pink-tipped blue ears curve around the face from the eyes to the chin. The back of the wings are a dark blue. Coarse orange hair has been attached with pink cloth to the back of the mask.

Devil King Mask2946/12

Devil king mask with a red face, golden crown, short twisting horns and a dragon at the top. The eyes bulge out on either side of the face and are decorated with large black pupils and pink and green striped lashes. The red bridge of the nose is decorated with silver chevrons. The mouth forms a snarl with its three silver teeth framed on either side by large golden fangs. There are three blue-trimmed golden horns on the forehead. The rubbery ears are shaped like flames and fade from dark blue near the centre to yellow at the edges. The horns have short, multi-coloured stripes decorated with silver and gold dots. The small green, dragon-like creature has golden teeth and fangs, pink ears, and geometric silver designs across the forehead and nose. The crown has green, half-sphere shaped projections on both sides. The inside of the crown is light blue and light pink.

Devil Mask2946/10

Devil mask with three foam horns on the forehead and long yellow hair at the back. The mouth is open, with rows of white teeth on the upper and bottom lip. Sets of overlapping fangs on both sides of the mouth are decorated with black lines. The eyes are almond shaped with black pupils and no irises. There are red and orange flame-like ears on either side of the mask. The bulbous chin, pointed nose, thick brows, and cheeks are made of foam and have decorative gashes. The horns have tin bases and foam uppers. The black tipped horns are decorated with repeating geometric designs in black and white. There are thin pieces of gold ribbon through the coarse hair. A piece of white elastic fabric has been strung across the back, through holes at the top and sides of the mask.

Devil King Mask2946/17

Devil king mask with a black face, silver crown and two large, twisting, multi-coloured horns. The mouth has large, spiked, white teeth. Two fangs project upwards from the corners of the mouth. The curling nostrils fade from yellow to orange. The four ridges on top of the nose are decorated with a studded golden trim. The cheeks have high, curved ridges. There are two large, protruding eyes with irises that fade from dark blue to white. Above the eyes there are large, bulbous eyebrows which extend to the sides of the mask. At the top of the face are four large, wavy, green and yellow triangles with studded golden trim. The flame-shaped ears are multicoloured. The five-point crown is silver on the outside and a light blue on the inside. Silver glitter is attached throughout, but particularly on the forehead, eyebrows and nose, with golden glitter on the cheeks. There are triangular rubber tips affixed to the end of each horn.

Devil King Mask2946/15

Large blue devil mask with curling horns, domed crown and multi-coloured dragon at the top. The bulging eyes are pink and topped with thick, furrowed eyebrows. There is a flame like projection above each of the eyebrows which fades from yellow to white. The mouth is curled in a snarl. The top and bottom rows of pointed white teeth are framed on either side by a large fang. The mask’s two flame-shaped ears fade from dark green to yellow at the edges. Two tall blue horns curl backwards from the face. The front ridges of the horns are decorated with golden tinsel. There is a short curved orange horn on one side of the face. The crown is gold, with a high dome and curvilinear cut-outs around the middle. At the top of the crown is a green, winged dragon with pink, flame-like ears. It has short fangs and a three-pronged tongue. The mask and crown are decorated with fine golden glitter. Coarse, black hair has been attached to the back of the mask.

Devil Mask2946/7 a-b

Large devil mask of painted tin. The head is all red with multicoloured eyes, protruding flame-shaped ears, two sets of horns curving in different directions, and a dragon projecting from the top of the head. There are blue and green plastic beads attached in rows on the red face and ears, pink beads attached to the smaller set of horns and the dragon, and gold coloured ornamental strips attached to the larger horns. The ears, horns and the dragon are multicoloured (mainly blue, yellow and green, with some red and pink). There is a separate purple hairpiece (part b) that hangs at the back.

Wooden drumstick with a heavily beaded handle, with a white fur tip. The shaft is decorated with tightly packed rows of small clear plastic beads, with the base of the handle covered in rawhide, wrapped with sinew. The top half of the fur tip has been darkened with black ink. There is a circular metal loop screwed into the end of the handle.

Robe2952/1

Salmon skin robe with applique embroidery. LIght tan-coloured skin with black fabric edging around the neck and down the side closure. The edging is decorated with a green band and thin red trim. The neck and sides are fastened with small, green plastic, buttons. The yellow band at the hem is decorated with numerous small, flat, bronze or brass metal decorations sewn on. Multi-coloured, geometric appliques on white fabric have been sewn across the entire back and down both sides. The black cowl and shoulders of the coat have silk embroidery in curving patterns. The skin cuffs are painted blue. The inside is lined with flannel and floral patterned fabrics.

King Mask2946/1

Moreno king mask, made of painted tin. Flesh coloured male face with a silver crown and gold pipe. The blue eyes are framed with spiked eyelashes that fade from red at the base to yellow and white. The eyebrows are thick, furrowed and dark blue. At the top of the head are two flame-like projections, edged in dull gold. There are two sets of ears. The front pair is dark blue with irregularly spiky edges. The back set is large, green at the centre with six large flame-like points around the edges and decorated with a gold trim. There is silver glitter on the front of the crown.

Dance Apron2922/7

Dance apron made of dark red felt with a dark blue wool backing, green and black appliques, beaded designs and rows of bells. The designs are beaded and appliqued plant-like shapes, copper shields and geometrical shapes, surrounding a flower on a long stem. Smaller copper bells hang in three rows at the bottom of the apron, with seven larger silver coloured bells decorating a plant shape above the bottom band. The left, right and bottom edge of the blanket have a scalloped edge. Red cotton apron ties hang on each side.
