Ecru collar with embroidery, thin hanging panels and centre opening with brass frog closures. The collar extends over the shoulders and angles down the front and back with scalloped edges. There are scroll motif cut-outs joined to the main piece by stitches. On the front and back are peony, prunus, chrysanthemum and bat motifs on an ecru ground. There are two thin panels hanging from the front and back with peony motifs on an ecru ground. All the edges are trimmed with pink. The inside lining is natural-coloured linen.

Dark blue uchikake (打掛) with many embroidered squares. The neck and centre opening are edged with a wide blue band. The sleeves are short with long hanging panels and an opening under the arms. On the front, back and sleeves are embroidered squares. Each square has a rounded top and a different motif. The motifs include towers, bamboo, waves, birds, flowers and leaves in predominantly gold, green, brown, yellow and orange on dark blue ground. The inner lining is red silk and padded with cotton in some places known as fuki (袘).

Purple cloth with birds and floral motif. Five rows of floral and decorative motifs below birds, and one row of white decorative design above. Blue zig-zag embroidered along hemmed edge. Selvedge folded under. Both ends hemmed.

White collar with embroidery and brass frog closure. The collar is rounded at the back and pointed at the ends. On the front are butterfly and peony motifs in pink, purple, blue, green, yellow and gold. There is pink trim around the edges. The back lining is white cotton.

Black tunic with wide extended sleeves and side opening with a tie and snap fasteners. There is a wide band around the neck and partway down the side opening. The band has a geometric pattern with a swastika motif in turquoise on a black ground. The inside lining is white cotton.

Black vest with netting, mandarin collar and centre opening with white buttons. There are slits in the sides and back. The white buttons have gold characters in the centre. The netting has roundels with a bat motif surrounding a longevity symbol? The collar, front opening, sleeves and hem have black fabric borders. The inside lining is white silk.

Full suit of armour, including leggings, skirt, tunic and helmet. Bands of lacquered bamboo are threaded together to form a flexible unit. Parts are padded and embroidered. Black plates with grey silk cord. Lined with blue floral damask fabric. Medieval style. Predominantly black, with blue and green accents.

Blue damask robe with rounded neck, wide sleeves, side slits and side opening with metal frog closures. On the front and back are butterfly and flower motifs in pink, yellow, white, green and black on a blue ground. The collar and side border bands have butterfly and prunus tree motifs on a black ground. The sleeve border has two bands; one with phoenix, peony and chrysanthemum motifs on a black ground and the other band with garden scenes, birds and insects on a cream ground. The sleeve lining is pink silk. The inside lining is mauve silk.
