Orange skirt (part b) with pleats and embroidery. Across the top is a wide cotton waistband with three rows of frog closures. On the edges of the skirt and pleats are black borders, some with a floral trim. On the front and back are square panels with peony, vase, peach, ‘Buddha’s hand’ citron, Ruyi scepter, pair of scrolls and sword motifs in gold, pink, red, blue, green and brown. The inside is unlined.

Purple damask skirt with pleats and embroidery. Across the top is a wide cotton waistband with two loops. The purple damask is woven containing the eight Buddhist objects of good fortune. On the edges of the skirt are black borders with gold trim. On the front and back are panels with elaborate borders and butterfly motifs surrounding a rectangular picture of a rooster in red, gold, yellow, black, green and blue. The inside is unlined.

Sheer green silk sari with embroidery. Arranged in rows overall, is an embroidered design of a gold arc with an ‘x’ motif in the centre and three floral motifs underneath. While the colours of red, green, black and silver are constant, their position within the designs change. An elaborate border is sewn to the bottom edge. The border has a gold overlay with square and floral motifs on a green, blue and red striped ground. The back is unlined.

Red silk background with black, and silver metallic thread of dragon and three symbols, one with flames and the others with ribbon. One selvedge, two hemmed and one raw edge.

Vest fastening in the centre front with four silver coloured buttons, made of plum coloured silk satin with a pattern of flowers. On the front there is an inset pocket with an outside facing at each side, and on the left side above the pocket is a third, smaller pocket. The vest is lined with white fabric woven in an overall pattern of small leaves with a bolder pattern of larger leaves. Each silver button has a Chinese character on an embossed background. There is a double line of machine stitching along the lower edge, which curves downward to the centre front.

Large rectangular hanging with embroidery. In the centre is a red bridge flanked by pine trees. Surrounding the centre scene as a border are three gold dragons on a dark blue ground with white cloud motifs. Two dragons curl up the sides and top, meeting in the centre at a large gold pearl. The third dragon curls along the bottom. Parts of the dragons, like the eyes and teeth, are padded. Across the top edge is a turquoise band with large metal rings for hanging. Within the band are leather and paper backings for strength. The back lining is green cotton with a cream pattern or fox, tree and leaf motifs.

Warp and weft yellow, pink, purple, brown and white striped weaving (ikat ?) with geometric designs in pink, purple and brown and gold metallic threads throughout. White tassels on one side, under the geometric designs.

Blue silk cloth embroidered with metallic gold and silver, and green and red thread of a bird, pomegranates, flowers and leaves.

Gray damask silk bib with embroidery. The bib is rectangular with a round neck and centre back opening with three metal frog closures. The sides are held together with two stitches. On the front and back are peony, prunus, chrysanthemum, bird and butterfly motifs. The inside lining is pink cotton.

Black silk cap with black top knot. The cap has a wide lower band and upper triangular sections stitched together in solid black. At the top centre is a red knot. The inside is lined with pink fabric.
