Phulkari style embroidered cap or hat. Predominantly in navy, with orange, white, and black on a red ground. Mirrors and sequins are integrated into the designs.

Embroidered skull-shaped cap or hat. Diamond-shaped designs of yellow and white, outlined in black. Small, round mirrors are sewn at the corners of each. Lozenge-shaped designs above and below. Purple background. Darning-stitch outlined with chain-stitch.

Full suit of armour, including leggings, skirt, tunic and helmet. Bands of lacquer threaded together to form a flexible unit. Parts are padded and embroidered and lined with floral silk brocade. Gold-coloured plates with purple silk cord.

Screen consisting of an embroidered image of an old man and woman raking pine needles below a pine tree framed with wood and with a sheet of glass protecting it. The image is embroidered in off-white, light pink, blue, brown, black, green and gold on a light orange-pink fabric background. The wood frame is divided into sections around the image with low-relief geometric designs as well as elongated oval holes, there are two vertical pieces at the sides of the frame with more geometric low-relief design as well as a finial at the top of each, two arched feet at the sides, and cloud-like carved protrusions at the top corners. The frame has a dark red-brown finish.

Curly hair tied back with light yellow ribbon on top. Dangling silver hair adornments. Her left hand is holding a closed umbrella (part b) while her right hand holds a dangling fan. Standing on a black rectangular wood base.

Standing samurai doll dressed in long ceremonial (hakama) in colours of turquoise and white brocade. He is holding a sword in his left hand. The base is made of a section of a coniferous tree trunk. Label reads "Japan".

Green silk hanging scroll depicting a large tiger (forequarters view). Colours are beige, brown and black. Bottom of scroll is attached to an ivory baton. Top of scroll is attached to a wooden scroll bar strung with patterned string for hanging.

Gong-bowl shaped with rows of bosses (part a). Stick (part b) has a red handle with white leather sewn on end. Cushion (part c) is red and white fabric with lotus patterns.
