BoxN2.1007 a-g

Red lacquered box (part b) and a lid (part a) with overlaid crest designs and a cart. Within the box, there is an ink stone (part c), and a water pot (part e), which each have a fitted place in a frame. An ink stick (part d), with dark blue and gold writing characters on a black background is also included with a small box that has a lid. Two calligraphy brushes are inside with one brush (part f) having a dark brown spotted pattern on a natural brown background with red and green writing characters and a clear lid while the other brush (part g) has white paper with black writing characters wrapped around the end and a retractable lid.

A stand with tow tapered triangular legs which expand at the bottom. The legs are connected at the top with a flat shoe-like-shaped piece. Inlaid with triangular, diamond-shaped, and four-pointed shell pieces.

Lime Container1461/2 a-b

A complete coconut nutshell with a wooden stopper on top and two holes through which goes a fibre string handle that has a metal nail pinned through it. The design consists of dotted cirles in a row on a horizontal white band in the middle of the coconut nutshell from which five equally spaced vertical bands with a zig zag pattern go up to a horizontal line near the top. The wood stopper has a row in the middle inlaid with side-by-side x-shapes of mother of pearl shell.

Flower shaped disk with incised designs on each side. The centre of one side depicts two people with houses and trees in the background. The centre of the opposite side has a plain circle surrounded by images of two birds, two houses, and a tree. On both sides each "petal" carries an incised design of a flower.

The centre of the opposite side has a plain circle surrounded by a bird, two houses, and a tree. Again, there are flowers on each of the 'petals'.

Child's Dress2502/1 a-f

A young girl's dress (part a) with open work lace and pleated panels on the bodice. Yoke has lace panels, floral embroidery, and a lace collar. Sleeves are made of openwork lace and pleated panels with lace at the bottom and openwork lace epaulettes. Full skirt pleated with openwork lace insets and wide scalloped band of openwork lace at bottom. Seven buttons and loops on back opening. There are two silk bands (parts b, and c) with shirred centres and four silk covered balls at each end attached by silk wrapped cords. Two more silk bands (parts d, and e) have four silk covered balls at one end while the other ends are unfinished. There is also a gathered silk rosette (part f) that is open in the middle.

Hat331/2

Circular-shaped woven hat with bone and feathers attached on either side. Starting in the centre, the woven pattern has a dark-brown band, a light-brown band, and a striped band of alternating dark and light brown. Edge of piece is bound with three stacked bands of red painted grass(?) and fastened with three vertical stitches at evenly-spaced intervals. Long strand of root(?) is attached to both sides.

Horn with a carved, tapered handle and a shallow bowl. Handle is carved in the shape of a person with mother of pearl inlay at stomach and hat; a yellowish inlay at eyes is unidentified. Bowl has design of incised lines that form two bands with one straight and one inverse scalloped edge.
