Rectangular mat with woven pattern. There are six bands through the weft strands. Each band has two strips of dark bark on a downward diagonal and a centre strip of dark natural bark on an upwards diagonal. Together the strips form a zigzag design. The border around the edges of the mat is formed by a double line of dark strips through the warp, crossing at the corners. The edges are finished by overcasting on a core of cedar bark. The mat is sewn together in the middle on the weft axis.

Long narrow mat with painted designs. There are two centered paintings in green and red within two thick black circles. One painting is of a killer whale, the other is of a thunderbird. There is a pair of dark cedar strands running around the outside border. The edge is finished using a wider strip of cedar as the outermost strand and overcasting on a core of cedar. There is a wooden dowel attached across one end.

There are groups of dark cedar strands running at regular intervals through both the warp and weft, creating a geometric diamond pattern. The edges were originally hemmed by replaiting strands back into the body of the mat.
