Blue ink drawing of a thunderbird head in profile facing to the right side on cardboard. Has a circle in circle eye surrounded by a sideways split u that has dashes within. The brow has a star shape at the centre. There is a triangular crest on top of the head that ends in an ovoid curl at the back that has a cross shape within. The beak has an upside down u form design with four upside down u forms along the top that each have long, central, tapering protrusions. The open mouth shows a four-pointed barbed tongue. There is an elongated, sideways, u form behind the mouth with an ovoid at the centre. There is a split v below the mouth. Therre are three tapering points along the lower jaw line. The back side of the head has four sideways u forms that each have long, central, tapering protrusions and four dashes within. The top left corner reads 'QUATSINO BC', the top right corner reads 'THUNDER BIRD', and the bottom right corner reads ' BY JOSEPH TERENCE JOHNNY QUATSINO B.C.'. Blue mat. Back has been drawn on in ink and then scribbled over.

Inuit Hunting Fish #511749/16

At the upper right corner, there is a hunter, wearing black and orange, who has an orange harpoon in his right hand. Beside him on the left, there is a light yellow animal facing to the left side that has a grey fish or a seal in its mouth. Below the person and the animal, there are two big fish lying flat and facing to the left side. The top fish is horizontally striped with orange, brown, blue, brown, and orange. The bottom fish is vertically striped with orange and purple with black. In pencil, on the top centre, there are syllabics. The drawing is on horizontally rectangular off-white paper.

Five human heads are depicted including one central orange figure who is depicted in full with the head in profile, the arms outstretched, and wearing a grey robe. Two blue and black frontal human heads are surrouned by orange semi-ovals at either top side of the central figure. Two blue and white human heads shown in profile on lower portion of print have a blue and purple animal ? or a red fish coming out of their mouths. Colours in between include blue, orange, yellow, purple, and brown.In the lower right corner, there is a small yellow image of a right pointing arrow emerging from a bulge pointing to pencilled syllabic. Pencil inscription across the bottom edge reads 'People and Grailing 31/50 1974' with artist and print maker's names and Baker Lake print symbol. Stone-cut and stencil print on vertically rectangular, off-white, hand-made paper. Paper is hinged on thin matboard and foamcore.

Stamped with names of artist and printmaker in Inuit syllabics in monogram form. Canadian Eskimo Arts Council stamp of approval and Cape Dorset stamp blind embossed in the lower right corner. A red, olive green, and black design consisting of a human head-like figure wearing an elaborate wolf-like headdress with other creatures within its body. The red human head is in profile, facing left. The headdress has three feathers projecting from the top; a black eye surrounded by green with black brow above, and an even row of teeth. The upper portion of the body has a bird in profile facing right, while the lower portion has a red-eyed whale in profile facing to the left. In between the bird and the whale are five feather-like U sets on the left side and three feather-like U sets on the right, with a black eye surrounded by red directly above. In the middle is a face. Diagonal slashed dashes across the sky. Pencil inscription below image: 27/75 BO-QUI-LA AThompson 12/82. The print is on vertically rectangular, white paper.
