My Guardian Angel1355/7

Rectangular design of a seated figure with a hat and upraised hands holding a sword in red and black. The stylized figure has black ovoid eyes with the rest of the square face split down the middle by the long downward pointing triangular nose. At either side of the nose, there is a split u, half of a red moth, and four teeth. The chest has two large black ovoids, two pairs of red u forms surrounded by a larger red one that is surrounded by a larger black one, and three pairs of red 'ribs'. The legs are at either sides with the knees bent upward and the feet flat on the ground. The arms are upraised at an angle holding a black sword across and above the head. The figure is wearing a dome-shaped hat, and the head is surrounded by outlines of red spikes with a split u at either side. There are wing-like features at either side of the arms. The figure is sitting on a dome shape that has five split u's surrounded by a red u form and outlined by black. Pencil inscription across the bottom edge reads '36/75 15/8/75 MY GUARDIAN ANGEL Roy Henry Vickers TSIMSHIAN TRIBE KITKATLA B.C.'. There is an embossing on the lower right corner for 'NORTH WEST COAST INDIAN ARTISTS GUILD member' with a salmon-trout head at the centre. The print is on a vertically rectangular, light brown paper piece.

Rubbing584/3

A black rubbing of a grave stone that is vertically rectangular. The top point has a design consisting of a plant (bushel of wheat?) on the left side, and the bottom has a design consisting of a pentagon shape that has a diamond angled inward at the top centre with an ivy leaf design on the left side. The grave stone is written with the words 'In memory / of NICODEMUS / DOAKH-A-K?YISH / Died at / Kish - piax / Skeena River B.C. The rubbing is on vertically rectangular, light white-yellow paper.

Serigraph print. Bold design of a human figure in a frog mouth, with the human face at the centre. Figure is bound by a wide red mouth with eyes above and a red band across the centre dropping below the chin. The figure's right forearm and upper arm are parallel and his right hand parallel to the upper band. His left arm is out to the side with the hand flat to the ground. Figure has black and white banded ribs, asymmetrical eyes with double black and white circles at the centre. Figure is surrounded by a large open mouth of a blue frog, showing teeth with red detail and red nostrils. Major joints are double ovoids. Above the top band, on either side, there are large red ovoids with black and white eye shapes at the centre surrounded with blue. Blue flowing line outlines all. Red band frames the print. Kwagiutl Family Portrait #31702/1

Four red, blue, and black faces. The top face takes up half of the print while the second face takes up half of the remaining print, and the twins are at the bottom left and right corners separated by a design. The eyes of the larger faces have the head of a figure in profile as pupils surrounded by a blue area. Their noses are upside down black tear drop shapes with a circle in the middle and red nostrils that are black within. The open red mouths show even rows of teeth. The nose and the mouths of the twins are similar. The middle face has hands facing outward with red ovoid palms. Edged in black. Pencil inscription along the bottom reads 'Museum Proof 2/3 Kwagiut Family Portrait D. Neel 96'. The print is on a vertically rectangular, light yellow paper piece.
