Whaling themed print with red, bright blue, yellow, and black rectangular design. The central design consists of a thin red four-pointed cross-shape with the following black images in each corner, from the top right, clockwise: a whale tail; a lightning bolt with two semi-circles; rain and a wave(?); and a whale dorsal fin with a bird face design. The surrounding images consist of the following, from the top right, clockwise: a red and black human in a blue boat; a red and black paddle; a red and blue human mask; a red and blue fish/whale, with teeth; a small black canoe; a red and black harpoon, with four yellow and red floats attached. Pencil inscription along the bottom edge reads 'Opetchesaht Tribe Poo'witsa 36/75 by Hupquatchew.' There is an embossed stamp on the lower right corner for the Northwest Coast Indian Artists Guild. The head is in profile and facing to the right side with a black circle in circle eye surrounded by a tapering oval and a sideways red u form behind. The curved orange beak has a black ovoid nostril. The red mouth shows even rows of teeth. There is a sideways green u form and a black split u behind the mouth. There is a black inward curl below the chin. The six-feathered wings are connected by black u forms and a black circle in a circle at the end. The three innermost feathers have an orange, then a red, then a green u form with an orange oval at the end. The three outermost feathers have a green and then a red split u. There is a frontal face on the body. The black circle in circle eyes outlined by green are looking upward. The nose is an orange dot. The open mouth shows even rows of teeth outlined by red. The three-feathered tail each has a red and then a green u shape outlined by black. The red legs are at either sides with three digit orange claws that have black tips with a black circle in a circle at the centre. Pencil inscription along the bottom edge reads '19/23 AP KOLUS Beau Dick 91'. On a relatively square, white paper piece.

Painting of a Thunderbird. Shows a bird in profile and facing to the right side. The brown eyes are surrounded bya green area with a turquoise split u behind. The orange beak has red lips and a curling tongue with a white s-shape above and a white split u behind. The body has a central brown ovoid surrounded by an orange area outlined by green. Sideways red u forms are along the belly. Elongated brown shapes extend around the back. The outstretched wings have brown u forms along the top. The upper wing has three feathers with red dorsal-fin-like projections along the top side. The two outer feathers of the top wing each have a turquoise s-shape, a red L-shape, a turquoise and green ovoid, and a white s-shape outlined by brown. The inner feather of the top wing has a turquoise, then a brown, and then a red u form. The lower wing has four feathers. The two outer feathers of the lower wing each have two green u forms, two red u forms, and a white s-shape outlined by brown. The two inner feathers of the lower wing each have a split u with the innermost feather having a turquoise u form while the outermost feather has a brown one. The three-feathered tail has two outer feathers that each have elongated brown shapes along the side, a green u form, anda white s-shape outlined by brown. The middle tail feather has a turquoise u form, a green u form, and a red tip. The three digit claws that have central red ovoids are at either side with the front claw more open than the back claw. On the front, in blue ink, at the bottom right corner, there reads 'B. Dick'. Title on back in blue ink. The painting is on a horizontally rectangular, light yellow paper piece from a spiral book.
