Daoist album leaf. Painting depicting Xu Xun and the crocodile infiltrating the Jia family. A male figure in green and gold robes with a blue bordfer is standing inside a house with his sword drawn and holding a white cup. There is another figure in blue, gold and green with sword drawn against a snake-like crocodile figure with a coiled and undulating body. Four female figures are pictured inside the house, and six male figures are pictured outside the house. There is also a young male figure inside the house with as sword sheath(?) on his back. The house also has a rooftop garden, and there are green and blue mountains in the background. The painting is mounted on off-white damask-patterned silk on paper.

Daoist album leaf. Painting depicting Xu Xun and an injured crocodile fleeing into a well. A male figure with a raised sword is standing beside two oxen that are butting heads. One of the oxen is light brown, and the other is dark grey. To the other side of the image is a red building with a white vertical sign and a wall extending out from its base. In the distance is another red building with a horizontal white sign and a cylindrical yellow object beside it. This building is flanked by the roofs of several buildings. Six male figures, some with weapons, each with a small fiend figure in their hands, and a seventh figure preparing to use a weapon on two find figures floating above him with their arms raised. On the other side of a stream is a male figure holding a sword and wearing light blue and gold robes that have a darker blue border. Beside him is pictured a young man holding a sword sheath.
