This is one of a series of reproductions of the "53 Post Stations on the Tokaido Hwy." from Nihonbashi to Kyoto (Hoei-do edition). The print is mounted on a yellow-white matte paper and has a cover page that flips over the image. The cover page has a printed inscription that reads: " HIRATSUKA Just beyond the present Hiratsuka Station, approaching Oiso, on the Tokaido Railroad Line. The round-topped mountain is Mt. Komayama; Mt. Fuji and Mt. Oyama are to the right." There are Japanese characters on the top, the bottom and the side of the printed message.
