Small painting of Krishna Gopala on silk. The body of the painting is framed by a wide painted border of pink and light blue lotus flowers, with fern-like leaves in between. Within, another thin border of red with gold details. At centre, Krishna Gopala stands surrounded by a herd of cows. A peacock stands in the foreground next to a body of water filled with lotus. Many of the cows and Krishna are adorned with peacock feathers.
Painting on thin canvas. Horizontal panel bordered by finely inked spade-like shapes on a solid light yellow background, and separated from the body by a solid red line. The panel has two rows of figures across it. The bottom right corner appears to have three women in front of a tree with Shiva(?). There are three demons(?) figures, with wide round eyes, in each upper corner, and a male figure at centre below a tree.

At top, a demon(?) figure and another figure are standing under a rain cloud, with a broken arrow above their heads. Below, three figures surround a tree. One of the figures appears to be shown in both the upper portion and lower portion of the panel.
From card: "Marked 'Coburn's, 1912.' Oval, coiled. Apparently made [?] by Mrs. Ben Philips, Julia Abraham's daughter."This basket has an old tag with it which says: "Mrs. Ben Philips, Julia Abraham's daughter, Coburn's 1912 SZM." It is unclear if Mrs. Philips would be the maker of the basket or a former owner. The back of this tag has the number 42. See also related object E360925, which has a similar tag, but is identified as Klickitat. It is unclear if Mrs. Philips would be the maker of the basket or a former owner. The back of this tag has the number 36.
