Outlines of leaves for three flowers and for the many pinwheels which cover the remaining ground are white. White border on bottom and right. Bottom sample (811) has small red and white checkerboard ground with ten petalled pink with yellow and blue or blue with yellow and green flowers; small five petalled green flowers between.Black line at inside border on right and slightly wider border at bottom. Mounting paper folds over part of sample from right.

The top sample (806), is a modification of the damask pattern, ariso, which shows carp against rolling waves, but here the background is a green and brown checkerboard, and the carp are two black and one blue curved fish with scallop-like scales. The bottom sample (807) is bright pink with a white dotted background with various single colour robes called 'yukata', a light, cloth robe worn after the bath. Right and narrow bottom border. Sample at top left is of evenly spaced rows of scalloped edged white circles with centre decorations on a dark green wash ground. The decorations repeat in 2 horizontal rows of 2 types. The first row has a stemmed flower with red/brown blooms and variegated green, yellow and grey/brown leaves, repeating with a large pink/red and dark pink/red bloom or butterfly. The second row has a dark pink/red and pink/red fish with 2 lower fins, facing right, repeating with a 5 petalled red/brown flower with yellow and green centre circles and a white 5 pointed star and white dots. Sample at bottom right is identical to the top one only the background is red/brown and the decorations are all in dark and light grey.

Sample at bottom right has a cut-out appearance with half circle blooms, trees and leaved interlocking vines with sets of 2 or 3 horizontal lines between sets of blooms, etc. In light blue/grey on blue/grey.

At centre of red/brown circles are white triangulated lines on black. Between circles are red/brown squares or stars with round yellow centres and 4 white lines.

Between each set are 2 red/brown half circles, at centre they connect with the line between circles; to margin they are brown with a row of white dots along curve at white curving line next to red/brown line. Sample at bottom right is horizontal row pattern of step-edged boxes in green and green/brown between red/brown triangles with line connecting all shapes; alternating with rows of stylized butterflies in various colours.
