Utilized Flake2021.O.002:254

A small potential utilized flake, it is medium matte brown with a coarse grain, and some dark grey scarring. The dorsal surface has two flake scarring ridges, but the rest is unworked. The ventral surface has been completely sanded down smooth and flat, with a small dip on the more narrow end. One edge is thin, jagged and slightly sharp.

A medium sized secondary flake. The dorsal surface has a third covered by smooth light grey cortex. The exposed surfaces are a medium grey with a fine grain. The dorsal surface has a bulb of percussion, some compression ripples, and an erailleur scar. The ventral surface has some compression ripples, and some flake scarring ridges.

A small primary flake with an impact site along the distal surface. The dorsal surface is covered with smooth medium grey cortex. The ventral surface has a bulb of percussion, some flake scarring ridges, compression ripples, and potential rust staining.

Flake, secondary2021.O.002:250

A medium sized secondary flake, with a point of impact site. The cortex is smooth, light grey and takes up three quarters of the dorsal surface; some of the hackles of the cortex are flaked away, exposing some fragmented worked surface. The dorsal surface also has a small patch of mineral buildup. The ventral surface is flat, with a single erailleur scar and some compression ripples.

A small tertiary flake, dark grey with a fine grain. Flat ventral surface with some compression ripples. The dorsal surface is textured with flake arrises, the extended protruding point has some compression ripples. The belonging has one thicker edge, and the rest is quite thin.

A small tertiary flake. Dark grey with a coarse grain. Dorsal surface has a single flake ridge, and a flake scar; it also has a few beige spots. Ventral surface is smooth, and has no beige inclusions aside from some light surface dirt.

Utilized Flake2021.O.002:238

A small utilized flake with no cortex present. A fine pointed hook has been carved and polished at one end, and the opposite end sports a half-crescent, shallow but polished curve. The dorsal surface has a single flake ridge, and the ventral surface has one flake scar just below the fine point hook.

A medium sized primary flake. The dorsal surface is covered in a desaturated smooth brown cortex. The ventral surface is the same desaturated brown with a coarse grain. Neither surfaces show signs of being further worked.
