The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

Two old (late 19th-early 20th century?) scrapbook or photo album covers, with contents removed. One has "Souvenir of Jamaica" imprinted on the leather cover, and no pages inside. The other one has a cardboard cover, covered with marbelized paper (no title/text). It has several pages inside, one of which is labeled "Mallery, Garrick; Introduction to the Study of Sign Language Among the North American Indians". Otherwise, both books are unmarked and completely empty. These were found in a box with catalog number E73552-0 (a set of Haida gambling sticks and pouch), and apparently at one time were used to house those objects or their associated casts E73552-1.
