Humanoid face, glossy red, surmounted by green cobra headdress (a) with two detachable ear appendages, (right ear: b; left ear: c) each a coiled cobra with others emerging from either corner of mouth that attaches into a hole in the mask via an unfinished tenon. The eye sockets, and the area at the root of the nose are embellished with petal motifs. The white eyeballs with black pupils project in an exaggerated conical form. The upper lip is drawn back from the open mouth. Two rows of white teeth are exposed with a lolling red tongue. There is a large white fang extending down from each corner of the mouth. The cobras on the brow and at the top of the head each have their hood extended and are painted with faces. The scales are rendered in lines on varying background colours of grey, light red, dark red, and yellow. The body shield plates are in grey and white stripes. The cobras issuing from the mask's nostrils wrap around the fangs.

Mask depicting Kanna Sanniya (which represents blindness) with a dark grey-green face, small ears, pursed red lips outlined in black, a straight nose with red nostrils, and a three-lobed dark yellow crown with a black design. The eyes are red-rimmed and outlined in black, and the mask's right eye is smaller than the left, which bulges outwards. There is a hole behind each ear through which thin string is threaded and then tied at the rear. A label on the reverse reads, "KANNA SANNI: blindness" and the number "19" has been scratched out and the number "20" written beside it.

Mask representing a wolf head (this is a type of theatrical Kolam mask) with a black face, a long narrow snout, open mouth with red lips and pointed red teeth, bulging eyes with red-rimmed black pupils, and red nostrils. One protruding black and red ear remains nailed the the left side of the animal's head. One longer canine tooth in lower left side of jaw. Flexible red rubber tongue tip and segment of tongue have broken off the end of the remaining piece of tongue that is nailed to the inside of the lower jaw. The upper and lower jaws are wired together on each side with two equidistant vertical stitches. Cotton string is looped through a hole in the top of the head at the back edge and the ends of the string tied together.

Mask depicting Moorman (a kolam dance mask). The mask is of a humanoid face with deep-set eyes, each with a crescent-shaped hole beneath, and an oval, pink face. The nose has slightly flared nostrils, and the mouth is open in a grin that shows a set of uniform white teeth. The mask also has arched eyebrows, long ears and there is a dark red-brown fez above the forehead. On the reverse, at the top of each ear is a nail with wire wrapped around it. There is also a nail with wire at the top centre. Label on reverse reads, "MOORMAN - KOLAM" in typewritten letters, and has an encircled "47" written in pencil.

Maha Kola Sanni Yaka healing mask, depicting a central figure wearing a headdress composed of five snakes and with long fang-like teeth holding an orange creature and standing on a dark red-brown smiling head (part a). The top figure has two detachable disc-shaped earpieces (parts b and c) with a floral motif. The central figure is flanked by two detachable segments (parts d and e) composed of two columns of four multi-coloured heads and the topmost column of one yellow head. At the top is a cobra whose body extends over the heads and down the outer side to the floral design element at the bottom. A label on the reverse of one of the side attachments reads, "MAHA-KOLA-SANNI-YAKKA: demon of 18 apparitions."

Mask depicting Ginijala Sanniya (who represents fever and shivering) which has a dark red face with bulging eyes with crescent-shaped slits under each, eyebrows in white on black, a small nose with flared nostrils, and a grimacing mouth with red lips and white teeth bordered in black. There are three horizontal white lines at the centre of the forehead, and two diagonal white lines on each cheek. A thin strip of green and brown fabric is strung through three holes at the edges of the mask: one at the top of the head, and two either side of the mask. Label on reverse of mask reads, "GINIJALA SANNI: Fever & shivering, " in typewritten characters, and "24" handwritten in blue ink.

Mask depicting the rounded and lined face of a middle-aged village woman (kolam mask). The mask has a low forehead terminating just above the hairline and extending in shelf-like projection (unpainted with rough surface) towards the inner side of the mask. The face is pink, the hair, eyebrows, pupils, and rims of the eyes are painted black, the protruding lips are red, and the teeth and remainder of the eyes are painted off-white. Black dot directly below hair part. Directly below each eye is a hole. The nose is a sharp, narrow, triangular shape with flared nostrils.
