Female figure puppet with moveable arms. The figure has long black hair and wears a tunic of dark yellow with a green and blue bird pattern. The figure has painted bright pink skin, solid black eyes, black eyebrows, black mouth area that extends down the chin. The legs are mounted on a single rod, with painted black shoes. There is a control cord running down the right leg, covered by painted fabric.

Human face mask with bright pink skin, and headdress with long ends that flips out to the sides. Mask has slit eye holes cutout with black marks underneath. They have thin rounded black eyebrows, black lips, and there are four vertical black lines on the forehead and three dots on each cheek. The black lips extend into a line down the chin.

Doll (a) representing a male figure carved out of wood with articulated shoulders and ankles. His face and hands are painted white with painted black hair, eyebrows, eyes, a drooping moustache and a chin beard. He wears a separate black paper hat (b) with a narrow brim and black silk ribbons that tie in a bow under his chin. A nail at the top of his head helps keep the hat in place. He wears a long sleeveless blue silk vest, gored and pleated under the arms, and fastened with a dingle button over a gored long-sleeved white silk coat fastening with ribbons tied in a single loop. Beneath this are an under-jacket with blue ribbons tied in a single-loop bow and under-trousers. His ankles are wrapped in white material, and he wears pointed shoes made of paper (?) covered with white cloth and painted with black linear and looped designs at the front and back.

Mask3387/3

Large kifwebe mask carved with striated designs. The striations are painted in alternating colours, reddish-brown, black and off-white. The eyes, mouth, and nose extend outward, with a large fan-like crest extending back from the nose, between the eyes. The eye lids are semi-circular at top, with a rectangular cutout below. The mouth piece is rectangular, with a square cutout at the end. A neck covering extends down and flares outwards. Many small holes are drilled through at the edge of the mask. The back is red.

Figure standing with knees slightly bent, right hand holding a staff, and left hand holding a horn. The person wears a pouch across their body with the pouch sitting on the left hip, and a loin cloth. The figure is carved to have short curly hair tied back with a headband. The surface has flaking paint and the entire left foot is missing from the ankle, down. Each foot has a single hole drilled in the bottom.

Shield with designs carved in low relief on the concave front. The pointed top has a cross-like design painted white with black outline. The body has abstract mirrored M-shaped designs in red-orange, outlined in black, with white in the negative space. Back is plain except for a single black line painted horizontally across the shield above a large vertical carved handle. Large crack extending up from bottom edge.

Drum3383/13

Wood drum with reptile skin. The drum tapers in from the top, and has a cylindrical base. The sides are painted with black and off-white vertical stripes. The skin is secured by two rows of wood pegs, and a notched leather band that wraps around it. One side has two raised areas, one with a metal ring, and the other wire, looped through.

Bowl3383/9

Long narrow bowl with a carved figures at each end. Extending from each end is a carved human head wearing an oval ring headdress with a small sphere inside. Each face is elongated, has a nose ornament and large ears on the sides. The bowl itself is the body for each figure, with their hands and feet along the rim. The exterior is carved with concentric ring designs. The bowl is painted white except for a red band underneath one head, and the carved loops at each end which are brown on the outer edge, and deep red within.
