Cylindrical cup with abstract painted plants (possible a cactus design). Four panels in upper half alternating cream and red on black and cream and black on orange, two on lower half in cream and orange on black paint. Contains a geometrical figure on a flat base of an arrow with some square designs. Burnished surface. Incomplete restoration.

Spear2948/150

Wooden spear. The bamboo shaft is bound to a carved wooden spear point with a small section of woven plant fibre. Three lines are carved under the joint. The carved spear point is quite long and consists of three smaller, rounder sets of barbs, two longer barbs and a thin point. Five thin lines are carved onto the base of the point. The spear point is a darker brown then the bamboo shaft.

Standing wood figure (ibeji) on flat round platform. Tapered oval head with flat chin, carved hair, and smooth rounded features, with carved lines on each cheek. Ears and buttocks are pointed. Phallus protrudes from the waist. Rounded stomach with carved triangle decorations. Arms are connected to the body forming an oval. Decorated with beaded red and white belt and beaded brown necklace.
