Spout figurine broken off of gray-black bottle. Figure holding flute to his mouth. Dotted reed stamp circles for eyes and in headband; whistle at back. Nose ornament, nose and headdress band; vestige of one leg. Modeled technique. Incomplete.

Large human mask painted and with leather and copper applique. The eyes rotate and have black eyeballs on one side, and red with copper bands on the other. The pieces of copper sheet are applied in patterns composed of lines, diamonds and eye-shaped sections. The lips and eyebrows are also made from shaped copper, the teeth are painted white and made from wood. The hide arranged in strips down the cheeks, across the upper lip and under the chin could once have had hair, giving the mask a beard. The reverse of the mask has a crossbar for the wearer to grip in their teeth, there are several leather thongs, and a lever attached to leather lines to operate the rolling eyes.; Good

Catalogue card description, Coloured mask with moveable eyes and elaborately carved stick. The mask has inlaid moveable eyes, and an articulated jaw, red lips and haliotis shell inlaid teeth. The eyebrows are prominent and painted black. The nose is fine with slightly accentuated nostrils which are painted red. Through the centre of the forehead a ridge rises to the edge of the mask. The mask has face-painting designs consisting of blue and red double U- forms across the cheeks on the chin. The catalogue card has been updated with notes on the state of the mask, the wood of the nose and lips are splitting, one eye inlay is missing, a gash on right cheek, and there is no sign of the elaborately carved stick.; Good

Large stoneware dish. Dish is round, with an everted rim and thick base with foot. The well is painted with an image in blue of a woman holding a chicken. The two look each other in the eye. Surrounding the image are overlapping feather shapes in three encircling rows on the rim. Lip is painted a dark grey. Exterior is undecorated. Signature on bottom of plate.

Large stoneware dish. Dish is round, with a high everted rim and thick base with foot. The well is painted with a blue line drawing of a man and woman standing naked in a wooden bathtub filled with water. Colours are subdued, the water a light blue-green and the wood and hair shaded with yellow. Image is surrounded by encircling lines in dark grey and blue along edge of well and rim, as well as on the exterior. Signature on bottom of plate.

Headband3089/3

Felt headband with carved wooden frontlet of eagle. Band is made of red felt, with balsa wood carving of an eagle head at centre. Bird has two feathers atop the head, with large eyes rimmed in blue, and an open beak with slightly protruding tongue. Neck is painted with feathers in black. The head is attached to a piece of black leather that is sewn to the band with hide strips. Three shell buttons are sewn to band at both sides of the eagle head.

Small unglazed ceramic pot. Vessel is slightly uneven, round with a bulbous body, flat bottom, and small neck that rises above the shoulder. A small half circle of clay emerges from the broken rim. Pot is undecorated.

Terracotta pot, repaired. Pot is round with a curved base. Body is wide at the midpoint, narrowing toward the neck and flaring outward at the rim. Midpoint is decorated with two black encircling lines, above which is painted black arrow motifs interspersed by squares decorated with lines of white. The outer rim has been painted with narrow vertical lines of rust and black, and the inner with large triangles alternating with groups of black and white lines. The pot has been smashed and glued back together, with several missing pieces.

Terracotta pot made up of fragments glued back together. Pot is round with a curved base. Body is wide at the midpoint, narrowing toward the neck and flaring outward at the rim. Midpoint is decorated with a black encircling line, above which is painted sets of two small black motifs interspersed by rectangles of horizontal black, white and orange lines. The outer rim is painted with narrow vertical lines of white and black over an orange base, and the inner with large triangles alternating with groups of vertical black, white and orange lines. The pot has several gaps/missing pieces.
