Plate shows a coloured image printed on glass of the mouth of Quebec’s St Charles River, with several small boats floating in the water, a town on the shore and bluff, and a First Nations community with a canoe and tipis in the foreground. Plate shows a coloured image printed on glass of the treaty talks between William Penn, founder of the Province of Pennsylvania, and Tamanend, chief of the Lenape Turtle Clan, near what is now Kensington, Pennsylvania. In the foreground is a group of First Nations and European men exchanging gifts. Behind them are several European style houses amongst trees and foliage. A typed paper label reads: "PENN’S TREATY WITH THE INDIANS, 1782".

A deep grove has been cut horizontally into the wood on the back of the slide, with a small metal clamp opposite. The plate shows a coloured image printed on glass of river with small rapids. A man stands on the bank fishing. Behind him and to either side of the river are bushes, and tall buildings with white or yellow walls and red roofs. A dark sky with clouds and a full moon can be seen at top centre. Stamped in wood: "W.E. & F. Newton / Opticians & Globe Makers to the Queen...London"

Single lever lantern slide. A rectangular wooden frame holds two round glass plates, one on top of the other, at centre. On the frame’s back right, a large triangular groove is carved into the wood to allow for the up and down movement of a brass handle attached to the rear plate by a brass ring. The front plate shows a coloured, printed image of a man and woman harvesting wheat. The man holds a scythe. The back plate has a printed image of the man’s arm, his hand holding a whetstone. When the plate is moved by the lever, it appears that the man is sharpening the scythe. Stamped into wood is "W.C. Hughes / Optician / 151 Hoxton St / London".

On the frame’s back right, a large triangular groove is carved into the wood to allow for the up and down movement of a brass handle attached to the rear plate by a brass ring. The front plate shows a coloured, printed image of a winter scene, a woman looking out the front door of her house, bare trees to the right behind a fence. A man in ragged clothes walks by with his small dog. The back plate has a printed image of the man’s arm, hat in hand. When the plate is moved by the lever, it appears that the man is tipping his hat. Stamped into wood is "W.C. Hughes / Optician / 151 Hoxton St / London".

Modified hemispherical greyware bowl decorated on the exterior sides with vertical serpentine motifs in alternating orange-red and cream-coloured paints. The bowl has been completely broken and reconstructed, and there are some small pieces missing.

Terracotta jar in the shape of a hunchback human figure. The figure wears a hat, with a chin strap, which flares wide to the open rim of the jar. There is a wide depression on the interior back lip for pouring. A hump protrudes from the top centre of the figure's back, the arms are bent at the figure's side, there is a round pendant on the chest, and the feet are bare. The details of the face are incised, and the ears, nose and chin protrude. There is faded painted decoration visible near both shoulders. The jar has been broken and repaired.
