The item search helps you look through the thousands of items on the RRN and find exactly what you’re after. We’ve split the search into two parts, Results, and Search Filters. You’re in the results section right now. You can still perform “Quick searches” from the menu bar, but if you’re new to the RRN, click the Search tab above and use the exploratory search.

There are three incised panels of abstract feline heads facing right on a field of horizontal lines dotted on alternating left & right ends. In between each of these is a panel of horizontal lines, making five incised panels. There is red paint and remnants of cream-coloured paint on the sections of the decoration. There are two minor chips on the lip, and a small crack beginning at the lip and extending approximately 3 cm down the rim.

There is a flat strap handle connecting the spouts at mid-height. There is a small hole on the bird-shaped spout, just above where the strap handle attaches. A double incised line divides the body down the centre, and the front half is incised with a panel of two fox figures, a band of step-meander motif below, and diamonds & crosses above. There are seven crosses on the rear half of the body. The bottle has been completely broken and reconstructed, and there is a 5.5 cm by 3.5 cm piece missing at the back near the base below the open spout, as well as some smaller pieces missing. There are some small areas of in-fill.

In the wide inter-space between the ends of the decorative band there are painted red and beige dots without incision. The bowl has been completely broken and reconstructed, and some areas have been in-filled.
Modified hemispherical grey-brownware bowl with band of incised decoration around the exterior rim, just below the lip. The incised band goes around just over half of the circumference of the rim, and features two stylized, elongated fox figures facing left. In the wide inter-space between the ends of the incised band there are traces of negative painted dots and traces of red pigment. The bowl has been broken and repaired, and there are a few small pieces missing.
Terracotta hemispherical grater bowl with a red slip band around the rim on both the exterior and interior. There is a four-tooth comb incised interior decoration consisting of two wavy line circles with short dashes between and in the centre. The exterior surface has areas of grey and discolouration, and the top surface layer of clay has chipped away from some of the broken sherds and areas near the breaks.
